  1. A big part of a player's job is to focus and execute. Is there a single player that could say it's Mike Oshea's fault they didn't play better? Maybe the injured guys that shouldn't have been cleared to begin with. Anyone else can blame themselves for their own mistakes.
  2. Imagine getting beat by a career 3rd stringer
  3. I heard he was a great guy, but obviously not much of an eye for talent. You were a man among boys, you got did dirty, it's a crying shame
  4. Our players didn't suddenly turn old and tired when they landed in HAM, yet virtually the same roster of old tired players with limited rotation put BCs season to bed with little to no sign of fatigue a week before. Our redzone turnovers were incredibly costly and it's a big stretch to blame them on fatigue. Our stars failed to execute all at once. So many points left on the field.
  5. I can only speculate. Maybe Eli couldn't read a defense in film as consistently as Kola? Maye O'Shea has multiple love affairs? He's a busy guy not sure how he makes the time. Honestly, I don't know? Is it easier to believe O'Shea has a love affair with numerous men on his roster or that Kola has some redeeming qualities beyond his wicked beard and hair? Eli looks promising. Whether anyone agrees with me that Kola played better than reported here is beside the point, we surely at least agree Eli is the future, until proven otherwise
  6. Tui Eli isn't going anywhere, he is under contract through 2025, he's plainly been the heir apparent since the day he was signed. Kola's contract is expiring. It seems obvious to me Eli is getting the job at C barring any unforeseen extensions or FA signings. It's been the plan for a while it seems to me
  7. Making it to the big dance is an accomplishment in itself, can't take that away... but it's a hollow victory. I hated all my silver medals
  8. Kola was only signed through '23 last I saw, not sure what assets we could get for a pending FA. I'd be shocked to see the Bombers bring him back though, Eli is clearly the plan for the future with time on his contract I've defended Kola plenty, imo he's not as bad as he's often accused of being around here (and pretty much only here), but last night his size was exposed, a big body like Eli probably doesn't get muscled around like and we probably don't give up that first sack.
  9. Nice. 70 correct picks would have just been showing off anyhow.
  10. If the crossbar steps up like it did in 2019 we are sipping champagne but alas Jesus sprinkles had enough magic fairy dust in the tank to get it done. One big play, but plenty of opportunity to prevent even being there age old story
  11. Nobody wants to just be the division champs but this was a good team and there is good reason to remain optimistic. Look around the league, I'm not trading coaches or rosters with anyone. Gpas here and there, who can;t say the same? See how the offseasons goes and take it from there
  12. Ever the optimist. I'm resilient or a bit drunk or both. Someone needs to fill the void spuds left behind.
  13. I mean there's a half dozen guys that helped put us in a position 7 other teams wish they were in so how full is that glass exactly?
  14. Woli underthrow o the corner was a tough one to watch. He's been running into the pressure a lot lately, he Faj'd more than Faj did as the season went on
  15. Half those guys replacements already on the roster more than likely. Reload not rebuild. We will be back.
  16. Jeffcoat a stud 2/3 of the year anyways. Still worth it.
  17. Punter was ROTY nominee... what a crop of newcomers... be better next year
  18. Changes are coming. OL, LB, QB maybe? Lots of up and comers separating from the pack on this roster. Some gaps to fill but who doesn't? Holm? Lawler did his part when called upon. The effort was there, just not the follow through
  19. It was, and it isnt even over yet! I still have eyes on GC'25
  20. Everyone loves an underdog. Let them enjoy it, who bets we're back next year and they're not? I do
  21. You're not wrong bit we've seen great QBs fade to good to not good to bad, let's nip this one in the bud
  22. What were his stats limited play time aside he did everything and more
  23. Lawler did all he reasonably could imo he can't pass the ball to himself The Demski runs haunt me. Wasted plays ultimately
