do or die

Hard to believe......

....and have a great deal of luck, for good measure.

Nah, hitting a guy late in the back of his knees, is A-ok

Elks need a QB, who throws a lighter ball.......

Lawrence is a total piece of crap....

Watch it......

I miss the Khartoum Temple Band......tinkling their way around the field..........

How do I know it's a bye week? I sip instead of chug.....

Well, Bombers D has done its part, in suppressing overall league offense, this year......

Not sure why some of these observers were so surprised. This is a just meat and potatoes team, built from the OL/DL out. Was apparent very early on, this year - that the GC beat down, was no fluke, and that this Bomber team would present a physical problem for anyone. I noted back in 05, that this team had yet to take on the intensity and physicality approach of MOS, as a player......yet. They....really....do ....now

For a no-brainer........this took far too long....

No wonder they look so unhappy....

The absolute nadir uni wise....... was sitting in the stands, watching the players from our proud franchise, come out for warm up......in those grotesque Reebok 3rd jerseys. Disgraceful,.

6 years and nothing done. Typical........ That kinda thing happens when you are 10-1....

6 years later.....Miller, Walters and MOS are still here. A lot of wannabe GM's and coaches, sure bit the dust in that one.........

No way he could be the backup, with that contract............

Yes, they are....

The local media completely fell over slobbering about Dr. Jeff. with his awesome Powerpoint skills, leather jackets, and cool Harley - just a fresh and exciting wind, after that dull ole Murphy. Shoegate killed us in more ways than one....

Yup, Hamilton was favoured to win the opener......over the scrappy underdog defending champs, at home

Certainly, feel free to read this on your podcast. The tradition? Was attending Derick Armstrong's first game with the Blue, in 2006. Wanted to do a game report or summary or something, that was a bit different from what everyone else was doing. Out of nowhere, had a vision of the ole time UP tickers, on the side of office buildings - hence the usage of ellipsis, to end sentences and run on's to the next. Evolution? Did the thing without notes for a few years, but was getting harder to remember everything.... then tried copious notes - but this made it harder to watch/analyze the actual game. Finally decided to take only notes for the yardages gained and field positions - leaving me free to analyze the game and add "editorial content" later. Name? Was considering "This and That", but was reading a lot of English literature at the time......therefore it became "Odds and Sods" which is pretty well the same thing, anyways...

One way to ensure respect ...is having the Bombers continue to beat people into it.

Until they simply wore out....in the latter stages. This team just grinds the life out of the other team.. .

So why didn't we get any games against Ottawa, then?

Have to admit, had some trepidation about the left side of the secondary, going with two rooks, there. But good grief....... turns out that Alford and Nichols are as good as anyone in the league. I know Rose is back, but whatever change is made back there - those two should be left alone....

Handy thing indeed.........
