  1. No , youre not. You ignore the reasons Trump governs the way he does and the desires of the people who put him there. You then go back to the same old leftist manual for instructions when you cant score points against an opponent. "Shut up, youre racist" etc.
  2. Conservative is now racism. Yeah, that and wanting to keep your job, not wanting your city turned nto dysfunctional, violent slums, not wanting to spend money to send your child to re education camps when theyre supposed to be places of higher learning.....
  3. Silly fear mongering, leftist rhetoric. The new party is about listening to the voters who put them there and actually govern as conservatives instead of ignoring them once in power and running shotgun with Democrats in rewarding the globalist, open border multinationals and arms industry.
  4. Like I said as a career move he knows which way the wind blows in the party now. The days of business as usual and ignoring the people that voted you in are over. The party isnt going back to the way it was before Trump. Get on board or get run over.
  5. No shortage of vengeful, panicky tweets from the lunatic left and their media fellow travellers. " I fear for my kids, gay friends, immigrants , conservatives are racist and evil etc" Virtually identical to the anti trump hysteria. Its like a playbook was sent out " this is how you tweet after we lose an election. Dont skimp on bizarre rhetoric"
  6. Guiliani is centrist . A liberal early on in his political career and like most New York republicans he hugs the center for dear life in the hoped to get some vote crumbs from liberal NYC in a presidential primary or governors race or mayorship. He won the mayorship because he vowed to and was succesful in cleaning up the appaling crime rate as white liberals were afraid to go to Central Park or send their nannies out to playgrounds and opened up Times Square for re development and got rid of the porn theatres and dives. Rich liberals love their shows and restaraunts Apart from that he was nearly indistinguishable from a centrist Democrat. He was also indistinguishable from other business as usual Republicans against Trump in the presidential primary and got run over with the rest of them as a result. Hes stuck his finger in the air and realizes the old republican party is dead and being transformed by Trump and chose accordingly.
  7. Pleased but only mildly optimistic . From what I understand 15 years of left of centre spending and the poisoning of the system that comes with it is nearly impossible to fix over even two terms of dedicated fiscal sanity. Scrapping the assinine provincial carbon tax and hopefully forming a united front against another one from Ottawa might be the most profound legacy.
  8. Not now. Internet rumour making the rounds about player threats, dissension with coach and owner unable to control it with other owners furious. Not surprisingly the usual suspects ESPN and Deadspin , never afraid of rumors when its politically attractive, went silent. Now that theres no political points to be scored against Trump and the spotlight has been turned around watch this White House/Eagles story die quickly and quietly.
  9. As predicted, the Eagles are now in damage control and not the White House. Instead of getting traction on what they wanted attention given too theyre on the defensive and now trying to quash the notion that there is/was team dissension. Coach tip toed around it at a presser and quickly tried to change subject. As I was saying this sort of approach never works in the US. Until there is some sort of dramatic turn in public opinion, and there is zero evidence that it will, Trump holds all the cards in the larger game with the kneelers and pro kneelers.
  10. Its an all volunteer force. Has been for decades.
  11. Again the official demonstration, which the city signed off on, and wouldnt have if they had declared racist ntent, but if they truly declared themselves racist then I stand corrected. The way I recall it some racists tried to co opt it. Antifa attacked, chaos etc.
  12. Deliberately staging a photo op in front of Che Guevara mural kinda tipped their hand.
  13. Again, supporting the policy isnt the same thing as championing the regime, which is what the far left does, and why Obama did it.
  14. The demonstrators af the offical event werent self described racists etc. The aim of the thing , with a city permit, was cultural pride and statue preservation in the wake of the removal of statues. If I recall correctly there were overt racists there but not attached to the former. Trumps remarks were directed at the former. To say Trump was praising racists is fantasy
  15. Money minded Republican lawmakers agreeing with Cuba was a happy coincidence. Obamas Cuba policy was a sop to his far left base.
  16. If I recall the white demonstraors in Charlotte werent self declared racists, (like Antifa doesnt declare itself marxist.) The overt racists at that that thing werent invited and were tiny in number. The fine people remark was directed at the people fighting Antifa, which is valid, and not the self described white supremacists.
  17. Cuba was used as an example because you said no other President pandered to the worst of his political base like Trump did. Obama did with Cuba. And I did say what Barr said was wrong and she deserved to be fired.
  18. Gross distortion of what I said. Anyone using similar tactics to make a political point has resulted in the same perception of ungratefullness.
  19. He didnt condemn Cubas abuses. According to your own standards thats tacit support.
  20. Kneeling for the national anthem is a classic leftist tactic using symbols of patriotism. Whether or not that is the motivation isnt the point. That is the perception. The saying "perception is reality" exists for a reason.
  21. Like I said that isnt the same thing as championing communism, socialism, repression of opponents.
  22. Not true. "Your patriotism is wrong" is a tactic used by the Left for other political, social situations, especially during war. Resulting in the same perception.
  23. Distict difference between celebrating the regime's system, which Obamas far left base did and does, and reopening diplomatic ties for practical purposes especially when there is money to be made.
  24. Yes, but it was never perceived explicitly as anti American by the majority, in a larger sense quite the opposite. Which is why it was a success.
