  1. Bombers have signed this guy, according to the CFL transactions page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keytaon_Thompson
  2. Agreed, He was also touted as the most pro-ready DL available and that's a big reason we took him. Didn't seem like that to me so I'm not sure how much room there is to grow for him.
  3. They already had their MLB replacement, just needed a new deal. He's not a Canadian though so they may have to shuffle things around for the ratio. https://3downnation.com/2024/01/29/man-in-the-middle-toronto-argonauts-re-sign-lb-jonathan-jones/
  4. The Superbowl started in 1966 but theNFL started in 1920 so there's a lot of history that pre-dates the Superbowl.
  5. https://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/39396125/vince-mcmahon-resigns-following-allegations-sexual-misconduct
  6. Some around here would say they overpaid him anyway so this is just a correction.
  7. Yup, Stefansson spent over $100k on a recruitment trip to the Philippines that landed a whopping 23 new employees. Dropping a few bucks on Forbes to make GOM seem like a good place to work, would be nothing.
  8. You should look back even further than because while they have won 15 straight, they had been heating up prior to that. They won 8 straight starting towards the end of November, including one against the Jets and one against Carolina, so they have beaten some of the teams you have mentioned. They've also lost to some of those teams like Florida.
  9. The burger has already had multiple names - it was first called the Superhero burger as a tie-in to the Batman Forever movie but it's also been the Hockey Hero burger & the Triple Double burger. I don't think McDonalds cares too much as long as it sells.
  10. At least since 2019 - he may have come off and put back on at some point but the club has been watching/waiting for a few years now. https://www.bluebombers.com/2019/08/15/negotiation-list-revealed/
  11. You asked about reps, not years of experience, so that's what I showed you - a direct comparison of how many snaps they took. Besides, all of that "experience" isn't quite what you make it out to be when you look at what he did and how long he was with those teams. For example, how much experience did he gain in the 36 hours that he was signed to the Bills? The only team he actually got any game experience with was the Arizona Rattlers. I wouldn't say he got years of experience kicking around like that any more than I would say Tyrell Ford got a year of NFL experience last year. As far as his time as a starter goes, it started prior to Ottawa. Harris started 16 games with Toronto in 2015, when Ray was hurt so teams got a good look at him that year. He signed with Ottawa in 2016, and Burris had re-structed his deal so neither guy was making big money (for a starting QB) that season - they were both going to make around $250k + play time bonuses. Ottawa had structured both QB contracts in a way that it was clear Harris was the starter in 2017. Burris was going to make 200k in 2017 while Harris made 400k. Burris retired before the season so it didn't really matter in the end. https://3downnation.com/2016/11/24/henry-burris-trevor-harris/ Harris had led the league in passing TD's in 2015 with Toronto (was 3rd in passing yards too) so I guess that was enough for Ottawa to feel justified in the payout.
  12. He's done better than Arbuckle though. Harris isn't like Reilly either, he's somewhere in the middle. Brown could a Harris, Arbuckle or Reilly but time will tell (I don't like his odds in Ottawa though).
  13. Trevor Harris - first 3 seasons with Toronto: 76 passing attempts - only started one game. Dru Brown - first 3 seasons with Winnipeg: 102 passing attempts - only started 3 games.
  14. Walters to Brown after GC 2025:
  15. You're right that we currently don't but other teams might not have that flexibility so they would potentially need to pay BO and a back-up. Could get very expensive for a team to go that route.
  16. We have them. Both guys got stashed on the one game IR so they did not finish the season on the PR.
  17. Who knew ChatGPT was a Rider fan? That toilet bowl lid for a roof is unmistakable and belongs in Regina.
  18. TBF, they did go out and sign a big FA last year without letting those guys go - his name is Kenny Lawler and that was a pretty substantial signing. Most likely won't be able to do something similar this year without some of those moves though.
  19. I don't disagree - I'm no stranger to Princess Auto but their brand is low budget and the products are often low quality so that's what comes to mind when people think of them. At the end of the day, it's money in the club's account though so that's all that really matters. Still Fort Hew to me anyway!
  20. Kongbo will be just another player strung along by teams offering the moon and then cutting them loose before the bill is due. That's something you rarely see from this club - I hope players/agents recognize this when negotiating with Walters. Yeah, another team can sign you to a bigger deal but will you actually collect that money?
  21. Sayles is closer to Walker than he is to Stove (or at least what Stove used to be). Neither guy is a liability, just not as good as what we had so we should be looking to improve because we know it's possible. This was Walker's first year as a starter so we'll see how much he progresses.
  22. From where he came from to where he's at now, you could say he is (relatively speaking of course). He was a 6th round draft pick, who was out of football for 2 years and then had to drive down to one of our FA tryouts just to get a look. That screams TCF but he's made the most out of his opportunity here.
  23. Yup, which is why we're still thin at DT. Stove and Sayles left and we haven't been able to adequately replace them (Stove in particular). They've done fairly well keeping the rest of the positions stocked.
