I often wonder though, if either of those guys had been blocked by an aging veteran (or inferior Canadian) instead of competing for a spot that happened to be open, would we have ever uncovered them? Like if Walters had re-signed Adams, does Dalton end up lighting it up for another team after being cut in training camp?
