  1. I dont really like Barker.... but he is a no non-sense football guy... so he will be a good candidate.
  2. could be a good deal for both sides... but i wouldn't do it if i was Winnipeg at this time. not because i don't think that it's a fair exchange of values, but because you may not have your starting NI LB after Feb 15 so trading away a prospective starting NI until the one you have is locked in is a bit dicey. agree on that. besides collaros is a free agent why trade if the bombers can get him from free agency.
  3. Obviously Bilukidi is not eligible for practice squad. He should be signed by any NFL team to their active roster otherwise he have no choice than to play for Winnipeg. Im just hoping he wont pull a Corey Mace.
  4. found this...
  5. He should lose down to 295-305 range. That's Doug's weight range. Same as Westerman and Laurent.
  6. The next Doug Brown... NT... too heavy for a DE
  7. If we could get him (Bilukidi) up here and re-sign Muamba.... that will really help our ratio - MLB, NT, 2 REC, 3 (or 4) OLs. Looks like the football gods is continually pouring a lot of help to Walters.
  8. yes. he played there on his first ever start, with less than a week here in Winnipeg. he did look good there. i think Jones deserved to be protected.
  9. That's all well and good, but he can't catch Every scouting report out there talked about his good hands coming out of Central Michigan What the hell happened Receivers Coach Howell stole Poblah's magic mittens away.
  10. first time i gonna go with Will Ford.
  11. my wish list GM: Kyle Walters HC: Rich Campbell Asst HC/Receivers: Bob Dyce OC: Khari Jones QB: Buck Pierce OL: Bob Wylie DC/DB: Kavis Reed LB: Casey Creehan DL: Mark Nelson ST: Craig Dickenson Asst ST: Markus Howell
  12. im going with... Duron Carter
  13. im with SJ Green as well.
  14. walters can always move up on draft day. we have a bunch of middle rounds to package.
  15. re our 2014 picks, currently we got... 1 pick in round 1 0 pick in round 2 (lost to Ssk) 2 picks in round 3 (gain from Tor) 2 picks in round 4 (gain from Ssk) 0 pick in round 5 (lost to Tor) 2 picks in round 6 (gain from Edm) 1 pick in round 7
  16. I got a feeling that Hall will not be a Bomber by Wednesday next week. Maybe Walters and Taman is just finalizing what value will Sask going to send in return
  17. I didnt say that. What I mean is Ottawa will put less weight if the players will be FA or not, if they are confident on their management that they can lure these FAs to sign with them. As for the guys I will protect see my earlier post, there are pending FAs there.
  18. it could be that Randle wont commit to the minimum 1+1 year CFL contract
  19. Darren Cameron ‏@Darren_Cameron 3m #Bombers add import RB Mario Fannin (Auburn) and import DE J.D. Griggs (Akron) to practice roster. Also release import RB Bradley Randle.
  20. On the other hand, Ottawa might think that these guys have all the reason to come out of Winnipeg, so they my take a gamble on picking our FAs.
  21. If I'm going to select today on who will be the protected players, here is my list: Round 1: QB: Hall 10 IMP: Turner, Anderson, Dunn, Wild, Stewart, Washington, January, Kelly, Edwards, Woods Round 2: 6 NIP: H.Muamba, Watson, Etienne, Kohlert, Greaves, Swiston Round 3: 6 NIP: McKnight, Renaud, Labbe, Penser, Sorenson, Poblah, Volny
  22. sad to say, none of our current QBs are better than Elliott when he was here...
  23. they can still update the depth chart 1 hour prior to kickoff.
  24. what i want them do is give volny more snaps, ford is not doing a lot out there.
