They haven't fire Dyce - he's still listed as STC on their website. And when has Hall ever coached special teams? Does Dyce ever coach ST when he took the job? And do you realize that Hall was a punt returner before? Yes Dyce had some experience with coaching special teams from when he was here. Being a punt returner doesn't mean Hall can effectively coach ST. Making Hall a ST coordinator would be an insult. It would be an insult for some people. Hall is not an high-ego guy so I dont think it will be an insult to him. If he believes that organization cared for him and he will want to stay, getting a 'demotion' is not a bad choice. Dyce did it.

this is not far from possiblity.... Benevides signs with Riders as DC. Hall stays with the Riders organization as STC perhaps. Of course, Claybrooks will not leave the Stamps. So who's left for us?

One has to think if his success in Montreal is more of Calvillo's resurgence, MIllanovich's offensive system and Popp's putting the right pieces together especially the OL.

I'll be really surprised if Green doesn't re-sign in Montreal. I heard Jackson has some NFL interest. He showed some great stuff last year but over a very short time period. He'd be a good guy to get in here but if he stays in the CFL, someone will overpay for him and I don't think it will be the Bombers. Walters did overpay last year when he brought Moore. I'm not saying the Bombers will do that again. But you never know, Willy might want to reconnect with one of his top receivers in UB.

SJ Green and Ernest Jackson are 2 of the group of physical receivers in the CFL. They could be available comes free agency.

Remember he was an OC with the Ticats in 2011 and moved as a QB coach with the Riders the following 2 years.

If Khari Jones becomes available, I would rather have him here as QB coach. Buck Pierce remains to be the RB coach. or It doesnt hurt also to promote Pierce as QB coach then bring in Mike Gibson as RB coach. but my guess it wont be either, what will happen is... they will promote Pierce as QB coach and make Paul Charbonneau as RB coach.

Safe choice will be Benevides or Hall since both are established DC. Both won't come in cheap though given their experience. Claybrooks will be a darkhorse in this race. He will come in relatively cheaper than those 2 above. Question is, is he willing to leave Calgary. I got a feeling he is O'shea's choice but it's a bit of a gamble.

Will Khari stays in BC?

Should the Bombers asked Huff permission to speak to Stubler for the DC position? then maybe throw in the Asst HC title to make it a promotion. Because if Huff doesn't want to lose Claybrooks, making him the DC will keep him in Calgary.
