It might also be fairly easy to draw him back here after his first contract is up on another team. That's actually why I think we should draft someone else. Let Demski go through his growing pains/development into a pro on another team. Try to get him back here after. Yep, I like this strategy. If that's that easy then I hope we can get Coombs after his first contract.

It's pretty obvious that we are going with 2 import tackles this year with the pickup of Bryant, Dile plus Daniels, Tyler and Mims. Personally I would love to have 4 non-imports on OL but it looks like the trend right now is 2-imp/3-non-imp OL. We have 6 (or 7) bodies available now for the 3 position inside with Picard, Greaves, Neufeld, Goossen, Morley, Everett and Griffith. Plus if we need a 4th NI OL it should be a guy who can play tackle on the CFL level. From what I read the tackle type players on the last rankings are Boyko, Groulx, Ruby and Guy. Boyko is a future pick. Groulx will probably fall on that category depending on the NFL interest and I honestly think he will be like Matt Sewell. Ruby and Guy will probably fall on the 2nd-3rd round. I think, Walters will not spend his #2 overall for a future pick and our Canadian content is not there yet to gamble our #2 overall for a future pick.

I don't really read Doug Brown's column. Don't like it.

Same thoughts I have. A very good negotiator though. Let's see if how that works on Argo's stadium problem which will be his first major concern.

Huff saw a value in Shomari. Some people here dont.

They don't need two import tailbacks unless one of them serves another purpose (a fullback type, a kick returner, etc) Bombers don't have a single NI RB on the roster. That tells me the Bombers are leaning on playing 2 imports RB.... unless they pickup Tyler Varga or Nic Demski (played some RB) on the draft.

Martell Mallett is a free-agent. He is no longer on Stamps' roster. If the Bombers have any interest on him, they should have picked him up already.

Technically Sheets is still under contract with Oakland as of today. NFL free agency will start tomorrow I believe.

If Sheets comes here he will be the primary back, he's proven.

Hurl's speed may make him better suited to be an outside linebacker, and if Muamba returns, we're all set for years. Sorry to burst you bubble. No guarantee that we will get Henoc on the fold when he returns to the CFL (If ever that happens). We dont hold his rights anymore, he will be a free agent.

Terrell Parker was very good at WIL spot. I think they should bring him back. We're on a traditional D anyways.

Here's my take... Starting 6: OL - Greaves, Picard and Neufeld/Goossen REC - F.Gudino and Kohlert (backed up by Goodrich and Bastien or Demski if draft him) CB - Bucknor (backed up by Jones) 7th starting NI would be by committee: - Hurl rotating with IMP MLB (Benton or another newcomer) - Newman rotating with IMP WIL (Unamba or newcomer) - Sherman rotating with either IMP SAM (Wright or another newcomer) ... or with Leggett. Jones can play SAM too so he can rotate there as well. - Thomas rotating with Anderson or Turner. - Goodrich (or Demski if we draft him) rotating with Adams or a newcomer Lot's of option.

Likely directly related to the Goodrich signing. I'd suspect Carter will still be in camp and likely get a PR spot. I think his name was taken off on FA. He was a freeagent. He was not resigned officially though there are twitter/rumors that he was signed back.
