Oh those Eskimos
I thought the Bombers do this have media availability to a couple players each day on the field after practice. Its not like they are banned from speaking to players.

All other moves could go bad on us but if Willy is the starting QB for next 8-10 years it will be a really good off season.

I don't think there is any waiver priority involved. You can't simply claim players off practice rosters either, you can offer them an active roster spot and if they accept, their current team can match that offer to keep the player and place them on the active roster, or let the player walk. Yeah now thats what I remember. Thanks.

Player can also reject going to the claiming team and stay on PR too right?

Would Ottawa have first crack at some of these PR players. Or is it first team to put a claim in?

Ill take Goosen over Glenn. Which it would of cost.- Weekly Fantasy Contest Details
Click the pick 'ems tab along the top of the page- Lock of the Week
Alrighty with the preseason done and the regular season only a few short days away its time to start the Lock of the Week contest. Rules are pretty simple. 1. Every week you must pick a player that will score a touchdown. Thrown touchdowns don't count. Receiving, rushing, return (interception, fumble, punt and kick) count as a TD 2. There is no limit to the amount you can pick a player. If you want to pick Aaron Kelly every week than you can. 3. If you fail to correctly pick then you acquire a strike. If you correctly pick you do not pick up a strike. 4. If you miss making a pick for the week you will acquire a strike. 5. All picks must be made before kickoff of the team that your selected player is playing in. 6. 5 strikes and you are out of the game. 7. Last one remaining or the one with the least strikes at the end of the year wins. 8. In the highly unlikelihood that teams are tied at the end of the year. The winner will be the player who has selected the most different players thought the year. *Week 8 has the Argos playing twice you must select which game you are picking a Argo to score if you pick a Argo that week. Winner will receive a $50 Bomber store gift card Place your picks for week one below.- CFL cuts
I'm kinda interested in K/P Shott and LB Spoletini. Shott was kind of disappointing for me this pre-season, he's gotten a lot of hype the last few years as a guy BC was grooming to take over for McCallum. I'm guessing that plan has been scrapped to some degree. Looks like Anthony Daley made the Lions. He's a Winnipeg kid who played a couple years of junior in BC, 21 years old interior offensive lineman, was going to play for U of M this season if he didn't make the Lions. I hate that the Lions can claim any BCJFL player as their own, wish that the territorial rights went to the province where the player played midget/high school. Think that needs to be in next CBA is that junior players be draft legible.- The Rye Thread
Forty Creek out of Alberta is my go to. Really smooth, as I get older finding that I slowly reducing the Pepsi and Coke I put in it. Now its mainly water and a splash of soda as I say just for colour. I am assuming one day it will be just water.- CFL cuts
I was hoping that the RB Anatolin was going to be cut If he is on the PR could force BC's hand and pick him up. - Calgary vs BC
