Super funny and could be true...but, true story, I know for a fact that a similar situation happened to someone I know in Winnipeg. Dating a relatively well-to-do girl, whose family lived in a rich part of St James and he was asked to not have his vehicle parked near their property. Just fwiw...

Lawless Leaves Free Press, Joins TSN Full Time
Noeller replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
The Free Press can't directly hire someone for that columnist gig, it will be filled internally and an entry-level reporter gig might open up at the bottom. It's a union shop, all decisions are governed by seniority. It will likely be either Wiecek or Tait that gets the columnist gig, I suspect. Randy Turner hasn't been a full time FP writer in several years. -
I've got no problem paying less for stuff, but I'm sure not going to publicly tell people I'm too poor to pay full price

Around the CFL Regular Season Discussion

BC might be in bigger trouble than Sask, and that's saying something. Likely all for naught, tho, if we can't string wins together then it's Montreal's spot to cross over in the West. -
O'Shea believes Bombers better than their record

Now here come the bullying cries....everyone's a victim...... -
For those of you who might be going to the Oilers game on Friday night, there's a good chance you're going to be able to get a good look at Connor McJesus. He's not getting the start tonight for Edm, so he'll be at either the Jets or Wild game on the weekend...

Patrick Kane Under Investigation - Alleged Rape
Noeller replied to The Unknown Poster's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
So every hockey reporter on the planet lost their mind this morning for no reason......sounds like Wednesday.... -
Paul Friesen ✔ @friesensunmedia Your #Bombers wrap: Feoli-Gudino out for a while, Kris Bastien taking offensive reps at REC, Nick Moore good to go, Ian Wild on spec teams. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming #Bombers have announced the release of International linebacker Carlton Littlejohn. Ian Wild can have his old No. 38 back.

O'Shea believes Bombers better than their record

That much emotion, at that age....if anything, it's made me re-evaluate things in my life. Sports wins and losses just do not have that much of an effect on me anymore. I'm terrified of being an old man who gets worked up over sports scores. -

Good for him. Getting out of print and into the Bell multi-media family is a great step. Big raise in pay and better job security, I'd think. -
Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 12s13 seconds ago Julian Feoli-Gudino placed on 6-Game Injured List. Looks like Kris Bastien in at wideout and Rory Kohlert moves inside to the slot. #Bombers

man this is so ****** up.... -
Are you for real? I sure hope not.Income splitting seems like a common sense thing to me. And if those that can afford it choose to have one parent (doesnt have to be the woman) stay home full or part time to raise children, I see no problem with that...thats a good thing. I think anything that might encourage or enable a parent (either one) to stay at home with the kids is good policy. We need more parent control over their own children. I just vehemently disagree with this thinking....so we're going to have to agree to disagree.

O'Shea believes Bombers better than their record

I've said all along that with a healthy Drew Willy, this team can beat anyone in the league. The only question is about whether or not Drew Willy can ever play 10+ games in a season... -
Mr Walters: What has Ottawa done that you have not?

The only way I deal Glenn from Sask (if I'm JO'D) is for a MASSIVE return...I'm talking multi-year 1st rounders and such... -
Ticketmaster all out?

I was wondering why Bastien was in the game at one point...s'posin' that would be why.

*fart noise*..........poor Khari. -
I think there's a middle ground between what most people are saying here and "best in the league"....people are so caught up in the most recent O performances that they're forgetting what things looked like with Drew Willy. But it's okay...I'm not a MB supporter and agree we need an upgrade badly. I was just making a passing comment.
-
What more can you ask than that they try as hard as they can?
-
It's like people think the Bombers are actively trying to lose...
-
I'm thinking it had more to do with Willy being a good QB and finding people to throw to then it was MB offensive schemes. This is a fair statement.......and I'm by no means a MB supporter....
-
No, there's no question...people are just too caught up in Brohm/Marve/Nichols to remember, but MBs offence with Drew Willy was really good. Now, you can say that maybe, with Willy and a better offence, they'd be world beaters.....but my point is only that MBs offence *DID* look really good with DW running it.
-
But yet, the offence looked just fine with Drew Willy.........
