  1. one of the most underrated players in the league. That guy is all hustle, all the time...
  2. Y'know, I started typing out something that I thought was really funny...in response to this.......but I now know you're sensitive to that sort of thing......so I didn't.
  3. that story checks out...
  4. I think there's anti-vaxxers of different stripes. There are some hippie types that are, but out here in AB, it's a lot of redneck, meat n potatoes, guns and liberty for all types that are anti-vaxxers....
  5. here's to another year of opposing players banging their shins on the Stove!! Absolutely love that guy. Re: Micah Johnson....does he have gas left in the tank?
  6. KFC is such a beauty...I haven't liked an American player this much since Bobby Ryan. The kid just plays the game the right way.
  7. lol @ mid-2022.... no. Anyone who wants one will have it this year for sure. In fact, I'm still optimistic about the plan to have almost everyone done by September. Once the factories are back up and running in Europe and things start rolling again, there will be a lot less hand wringing.
  8. First time in this series iv felt like the Jets were the better team for most of the night. Really good effort.
  9. My hockey pool says thanks...
  10. BC's response, at least the first go 'round, was internationally recognizes as successful under CMOH Bonnie Henry. They had some kinda article on her in the New York Times back in the spring, and she was seen as the leading authority among CMOH's across North America.
  11. Every province with a CON Premier had an awful COVID19 response, and you know that O'Toole is cut from the same cloth. Again, prioritizing $$$ ahead of lives is what they're all about. And a pandemic is not the time for that. I've said from Day 1, I was so incredibly thankful we had the Lib's in charge when the pandemic hit. I only wish Rachel Notley was still in charge in Alberta.
  12. So much can change so quickly.......but right now I'd bet on no fans for the first half of the season, and then limited fans starting after Labour Day...
  13. I guess it depends on what y our definition of a good HC is, but in terms of pure leadership, there's nobody up there with Osh. Guys would kill themselves for him.
  14. our political "controversies" are so incredibly minor compared to other countries, it's laughable. The Grits, for all their faults, are still far and away the best option for Canada right now, and if we do end up having an election in the spring, Trudeau might even win a majority.
  15. Curious about the relatively high numbers in Interlake-Eastman.... is that a communal living (colony) situation, or just randomly high numbers...?
  16. Wade deserves a fair bit of credit as well. He opened the puse strings in a big way and that was a huge part of it. Spending on things like charter flights, hot meals, etc.....seemingly "little things" that go a long way with players.
  17. Argos loading up alright.....but players on the wrong side of their prime...talented guys, for sure.......but how much gas left in the tank?
  18. one of the most underrated players in the league. He's insanely talented...one of the best LBs "in coverage" that I can remember. LBs is not a concern for us in 2021, I don't think...
  19. fans, for the most part, are morons....
  20. I have a really hard time with people who haven't played the game at a high level talking like they know what's going on. PaMo knows what I'm talking about and he's had enough and said something about it. Good on him.
  21. "does Buck base his offense around Harris...." If he doesn't, he's a dummy. And Buck's no dummy...
  22. I couldn't love this more.... On so many levels.
  23. Lawler and 'Sheed could really blow up, depending on how the offense is set up. I still think things will run through Harris, which means less touches for the REC's, but we've definitely got talent in the receiving corps that will be there when needed.
  24. If I'm reading the tea leaves right, seems like the Bombers were waiting to see what happened with Burnham before they made their play at Lawler. Wouldn't know how much money is available for KL until they knew if they needed to pay BB....
  25. no mention of Brossoit's phenomenal effort on Gaudreau's shot at the end (to come out and challenge that far, taking away all of his targets) and Forbort's volleyball save, on a puck that went up and over Brossy and might have faleln in the net if he hadn't batted it away. Two absolutely crucial, game changing plays...
