Talk on twitter of Dane going to Ottawa to run the same 1a 1b system with Masoli that they had in Ham. Would love to see that if for no other reason than Sask having to trot out Faj and Fine again in '23. That team is going to be SO bad and there's absolutely no way to fix it in time for this coming season....

But, without triggering Terry, that contract will get torn up and a raise will be given (rightfully) if he chooses to return.

Sheed does everything asked of him. His stats aren't "relatively low" because he can't be a top tier receiver.... it's just that he's used differently. On another team, as the 1st or 2nd option, he'd likely have huge stats. So it's not that he isn't worth the money. The only way he leaves is if he feels like another team will give him a chance to be a star...

well trust me when I say "**** them..."

Bobby's never let us down.......right?

only way he fits is at a VERY cost-effective price.... with his injury history, it's tough to justify any real money, especially when Lawler and Lewis and maybe Schoen are out there looking for big $$$....

also feel like Ellingson is FAR from a lock....

this is really just a silly, nonsensical piece, but from the Bombers section: WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS NOTABLE RET Janarion Grant As explosive and smooth as any return man in the league, Janarion Grant has to stay in Winnipeg or he’ll make them pay with a game-changing play, the same way he boosts the Bombers win probabilities every time he touches the ball. UNLIKELY REC Shaq Evans Shaq Evans needs a change of scenery and the Bombers could be just what the doctor ordered. I’m not sure of his pure fit here, but I could see his production returning to his breakout season in Saskatchewan and he’d certainly spice up Labour Day Weekend. LOCK: REC Greg Ellingson He loves Collaros, and he should. They were meant to play football together. PERSONAL REQUEST DL Micah Johnson This would be chaos, but as my mind wanders through this article creation process I had to laugh at how ridiculous Willie Jefferson and Jackson Jeffcoat would be with Micah Johnson eating up multiple players inside.

yikes...not sure where my head is at and don't even know who Geno Smith is......can't believe it took this long for someone to catch it. Ha.

What I know of the situation (Western Canadian radio is a small world and everyone knows everyone, to a degree), he is a RABID Riders fan who's wanted the PBP gig for a very very long time. I think he's legit in his beliefs, for what that's worth.

but that's the point, really, isn't it? The only way you can REALLY be the PBP vox in Sask is to be off the deep end like this...

Some fun stuff going on here......

We don't win the GC of not for him....

Quite the interesting situation if both Lewis and Lawler are available in FA... you can't really go too far wrong with either.

Geno Lewis apparently not happy with the Als and is going to the highest bidder....

Love it. Really hoping she and the UCP get torched in May....

Kind of all over Alberta.... some of it was shot down here, south of Red Deer. They shut down part of our "Uptowne" area for a couple weeks. Andrew Garfield's "Under The Banner Of Heaven" also shot here, along with some of the Paul Rudd "Ghostbusters" movie from a few years back. AB gets a lot of movie/TV work, due to sizeable tax breaks...

100% to all of this. I used to watch this Cobie Smulders show "Stumptown" that Tantoo Cardinal was on and she was great...I know she can act.....but in this, it's almost embarrassing. And yes, every one of the actors being Canadian....not to **** on Canadian arts too much, but.........I swear all the other actors have only ever been in Tim Horton's commercials or Hallmark/W Network movies...

I just feel like Molina is the only good thing about it. The rest of the actors are sub-par and the writing isn't exactly top of the line. But yes, rural Quebec looks gorgeous...

my wife's first comment "it's Doc Oc!!"

bye bye Suberman.... also: Not a good look.......

so a couple newer things I've watched lately, that I was going to report back on........ 1) 3 Pines (Amazon Original) starring Alfred Molina as an inexplicably French-Canadian provincial police homicide inspector. This show is basically Alfred Molina (who is awesome in anything) and a bunch of people who I think their previous experience was Canadian Tire and Tim Horton's commercials. It's about a half step from being a Hallmark-type show. Basically, there's 8 episodes covering 4 different murders (each "case" is 2 hour long episodes) and they all take place in rural Quebec. I've watched 6 of the 8 episodes and it's interesting, but not particularly well done in any aspect, aside from Molina, who's clearly the only quality actor in the show. 2) The new Night Court starring Melissa Rauch as the late Harry Anderson's daughter and John Laroquette reprising his Dan Fielding character. I remember enjoying the original back in its day, and I had high hopes for this. I can't even begin to tell you how painful it was to get through the pilot. It was SOOOOO bad. The laugh track was painful, the writing was painful..... I just can't imagine that this gets picked up beyond its initial run.
