The more I think about it, Luke Willson is prolly good friends with Johnston and was used by the commish to call out the so called blemishes with the league. Willson has been saying the CFL needs to get ride of the rouge, change the last 3 minutes etc. And anyone that doesnt agree with him is stuck in the past and is afraid of change.

At least they can't take away my rouge.

Seven days between games and the Bombers are only practicing twice this week; Tuesday, September 23 Practice: 11:40 a. m. - 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 Closed practice Thursday, September 25 Off day – no availability Friday, September 26 Walkthrough: 11:10 a.m.

My thoughs after 24 hours; I'm ok with the changes if they were the only major changes the league is going to make. Sadly, I feel that this is just the beginning and the CFL will be playing 4 downs by 2030. Because of the shorter field, I hope they move the line of scrimmage from the 40 to 35 or 30. Need to preserve the last 3 minutes of the half. I'd be more accepting of the changes if they were a last resort. Where's the new marketing ideas and grassroots initiatives from the league and money losing teams?

I enjoyed it when he used to have the running gag with Damon (one of my favorite actors). Every now and then I'll watch Silverman's video she made with Damon and Kimmel's followup video with Affleck. That was some good ****.

@bluto are you familiar with the renovations at BMO field for the World Cup? Was there any chance the new layout was going to accommodate a 110 yard field with 18 or 20 yard enzones? Maybe thats what spearheaded the new field sizes.

At the announcement they had the Grey Cup sitting on the fan base. How many of those that spent 400 bucks to have their names engraved in the base are happy with all the changes?

I guess Usports will need to change their field sizes as well.
