Watched the Foley interview with Shane McMahon. At times I wondered if Mick was interviewing himself as he kept interrupting McMahon. A the end he asked Shane about the current roster then went off on a tangent & ran out of time. At times, you could see Shane was confused about the way a question was asked or his feelings about Stephanie & Triple H. Mick obviously was nervous.

It's ridiculous for the Riders to overpay for CFL free agents yet try to underpay their 1st round pick. Go crazy in February yet be austere..errr... cheap in May with their draft picks. Trying to pay St .John the same as their 8th round pick (if he makes the team). Good luck with that.

Goalie, you also have to factor in injuries. A team that is best in their league may dominate the regular season but go into the playoffs missing key players. Or injuries during the playoffs. That has happened in the past as well. We see it all the time... The 2001 example you used is exactly right.

Again, no. the BEST TEAM does not win every year in every league. Sometimes it's the way playoff systems are designed. The 2 best teams meet early & one is eliminated, a lot of times that being the best team... So, no... winning a championship does not automatically make a team the best team as the best teams don't always win.
