It's not random... basically every game this year the refs embarrass themselves with ineptitude in some fashion. No one is saying "oh the refs always screw us over", it's more "the refs suck and they and the command centre regularly botch things". Like it's amateur hour in the CFL for reffing. Compared to say the NHL where I don't think the refs are inept, they just heavily engage in game management because that's what the NHL wants. I don't believe the CFL refs manage games, they're just useless.

More than anything I think it says "we watched the film... it was ****!" and are making a change that they can make to help the situation.

The league really needs to stop trying to tweak the rules every offseason and focus more on improving the officiating on the rules they do have already. It's quite frankly a joke how incompetent the referees are in the cfl.

Yeah based on where the ball was I think he got the yardage, but there was 0 chance they were going to over turn that. Tsn doesn't have the camera angles to make it definitive. How about not putting yourself 3rd and 17 instead.

You know I don't even think Collaros was the problem.... Buck did him absolutely 0 favours, especially in the first half. Your OL is getting worked over but your running back still had some good gains... but why run him? He's only your MVP... That goal line nonsense... 2nd down you 100% give it to Brady and let him smash it in there. They did better in the 2nd half play calling but too little too late. It says something when Duane Forde spent the whole game gushing about Nichols. Tsn usually only cares about stats but Forde isn't a dummy and he took every opportunity to point out how good Nichols is and has been.

Yeah Dunigan for as much as he will just fanboi out over plays still has that qb eye and he tells you what the qb saw to make the play happen. Lapo is good at explaining how it worked too.
