  1. If that bar were any lower....
  2. No it wasn't suddenly, it started happening over the course of last year. Specifically after the game BC whooped his ass. Yes he had some big games after that but the problems started creeping in and have only continued. Yes he is not getting a lot of help from his receivers right now, but neither is he really helping himself either. Guy has lost "it", and when you are the highest paid player in the league you don't get to blame everyone else. You get paid like that you have to make chicken salad out of chicken **** sometimes.
  3. The hit isn't really the problem, it's the landing, but **** Saskatchewan. I'm just made bighill can't do **** when it matters.
  4. Things are not so dismal for this team... they just need to actually be willing to be a meritocracy.
  5. For all his faults with roster building I still do love the way Osh just totally brushes off Mace there.
  6. But what has he done to stop the losing?
  7. What evidence do we have to suggest this?
  8. Live look at the bombers coaching staff
  9. The only reason Bighill did that is because he's frustrated. He is playing like **** and he knows it, the coaches know it (even if they don't do anything about it) and the fans know it. The problem is making that hit late doesn't change anything. It is sad when great players lose it and don't know when to walk away.
  10. So let's try the guy already on the roster... I know you've convinced yourself he can't throw, but you're wrong.
  11. Was at least one play last night. Pump once, pump twice sacked for a big loss. He won't even throw the ball away to avoid losing yards. Mentally he is toast.
  12. Because the future in football is only a matter of a few years... 5 years is an eternity. Streveler doesn't need to be the guy in 2030... just the guy to handle things for a few years until someone else is developed.
  13. That's the biggest thing. If a rookie played as bad as bighill has this year he would be gone and never play again... but bighill can never even take a seat on the sidelines. It's beyond a problem now how some guys have no accountability
  14. He has done that every game this year. Throw it right to the opposition when we start moving the ball. Guy is just so done as a high level qb. Physically and mentally.
  15. Lucky can catch a short pass and run fast for a few yards too, just as well as Oliveira. More importantly her is a veteran who could read the D and adjust and be in the right spot to make a catch.
  16. Both parts. Streveler can absolutely be the future and the guy to go to now. Throw a rookie qb into this cess pool of an offense to what end? Ruin whatever potential he might have? Are we so eager to rush back into the tim Burke era of qb of the week?
  17. I think it's more like, when you're getting beaten physically you're more likely to take holding penalties or pass interference penalties.
  18. He spent most of the game just throwing it up for their 7 foot receiver. Super simple stuff.
  19. Yep and one of the things Wally Buono understood well. Plenty of times he sent a popular veteran packing because he didn't want to get stuck holding the bag with a declining player
  20. Well I remember 2 years ago discussions started about bighills declining production, and last year everyone knew he was barely hanging on so this is sadly not out of nowhere. BA I think the injuries just finished him.
  21. Go read the first few pages of this thread and see how your statement lines up with what was being said..
