We won back to back on labour day and the banjo bowl. This riders team isn't some big bad scary threat. Harris will dink, then he will dunk and like last night will settle for field goals.

Some people mistake being connected for being knowledgeable. Hodge is a fantastic example. It's why with a doofus like suitor it's so frustrating... guy could put in a little shred of work to parlay his position and access into something insightful... instead we get the same bland **** regurgitated ad nauseum every single game.

I truly believe that collaros is playing his best ball of the season towards the end of it. Problem of course is there's been times the rest of the O has let him down. So let's hope they've got some good plans formulated and they are able to execute it. Keep collaros from getting hit like a pinata all day and he will pick that secondary apart.

Yeah but our run game is more than just rushing totals IMO. Brady catches passes is an extension of it. I agree the OL needs to pick it up, but more because of collaros. He needs some time to operate otherwise it won't matter what Brady does.

Their OL is dogshit though so they couldn't run even if they wanted to.

To be fair, adams got hurt against winnipeg right? And was awful in that game anyway so maybe the shine was wearing off... they did spend big money on Rourke and Betts and got sweet **** all return on that investment at any rate. Lions D is just putrid this year.

Bc has had one of the all time epic collapses of a season. They had complete control of the division and then went full suck and limped into 3rd place with a meel exit. Let the riders be cocky. They were cocky in 2019 and in 2021.

Was curious so looked at the stats... 17/23 for 170 yards so a nice clean game, streveler was 3/3 with the only passing td. Lots of medlock field goals but really the story was Harris with 2 tds and about 170 yards combined. Throw in the dominant defense and there you have it.

And even then Harris and Streveler were huge parts of that, not to mention the defense... Yeah brown put up lots on em and the Montreal D will not be so bad at defending the big plays.

Given the way the defense has performed are we going to suggest that younger hasn't worked with what he's been given on defense? Just because it doesn't look like the normal cfl defenses that most teams use which are based around the defensive line/linebackers doesn't mean it's not working. Until such time as cfl teams commit to being run heavy it's working and working damned well

Yeah best thing for collaros was lapo ******* off. Would have been a disaster. Collaros is bad at the short passing game. I actually think though that collaros has been playing as well lately as he has all year, probably the best he has all year (rest of the offense not so.much) but I've got enough faith in collaros at the moment.
