I feel like he's been good the last few west finals. 2019 was odd since he and streveler split time so much, 2021 west final was ugly for sure.

It's also not some new piece of brilliance, it's been around in a lot of forms for ever... it became a real popular idea for Andrew Harris so it got a lot of attention.

And sask dropped him to go with Trevor Harris... not exactly the mark of a guy who is worth much... as i said, he's a guy teams settle for.

Which really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things... both qbs were secondary to their teams successes, both rode their defenses to wins. Fajardo sucks, always has, always will which is why despite a grey cup win he was dropped quickly when they had a better option in Montreal.

To me he's a shitty version of Henry Burris. All smiles and team work when things are going good, the second it's not going good the fingers are pointed everywhere else.

For the record... when I say faj has a bad attitude I never even thought for a second about FIFO... I was thinking about his pissing and moaning about not wanting to compete for a job.

So if he's so good why did Montreal toss him aside? After all, he won then a grey cup... maybe it's time to stop pretending faj is anything more than a guy that people settle for when they don't have better options.

Given the absolute **** attitude he's shown why do you want him as a backup? Poor skills and a poor attitude... thats a no from me.

See if it was just Jake I'd believe it, but honestly I think they were stuck on the idea of the DL having a Canadian at dt and an end who rotated in. Otherwise why keep schmekel around? Why keep Bennett on all year last year and have Hubert taking big reps early this season?

Yeah a limited Thomas is fine, and Wilson if healthy is a good player (I'd move on because he never stays healthy). It's Bighill they really just need to cut ties with and remove the temptation. He's never healthy and even when he is he isn't good enough any more.

So here's the disconnect... you see it as inability to find better players, everyone else sees it as reluctance to tell vets to go away. Best DT combo the team used all year was woods and adams (where did they get those guys again?) Yet they stuck with the idea they needed a Canadian at the position so it was lots of Thomas.

Well I listed 2... the you had guys like woods who started the bulk of the games and did look solid... garbut and adams had moments, ayers as well... so what exactly are you hoping for? Not a lot of rookies step in and do what schoen did. Often will be their 2nd year guys really hit their stride... show me a team that's done better with first year players...

this seems based on absolutely nothing... Pierce interviewed for head coach roles last season... he took a job in BC this year. i don't get where you figure there is animosity.
