  1. If Mitchell plays well someone should be answering some very uncomfortable questions.
  2. That's what I'm saying, the first INT, the guy wallace was blocking got free and drifted into the throwing lane to get hands in the way. Now we praised Willie to high heavens for doing stuff like that, but if Wallace stayed on that block the INT never happens. The deep shot I hated from the get go. was off target and the receiver had no seperation anyway. felt like a total desperation throw to try and hit something deep. was it qb or the playcall? I dunno. Third one why the **** are we even throwing the ball there? run into the middle twice and kick a field goal, go up 9 with limited time left. Don't even be throwing let alone throwing a jump ball for a half foot mismatch in height. so yeah I maintain that the qbs are less a problem than receivers who can't make plays or get open intermediate to deep and an OL that is inconsistent.
  3. Ed Tait and Randy Turner articles the day after a game were great stuff.
  4. Are the riders good? No, never.
  5. I still feel it's less the qbs and more everything around them.
  6. Tait is a good writer and always was. He's got a nice job being the Bombers hype man right now but that doesn't diminish how he set himself apart based on his work prior to taking that gig.
  7. Counter point it took nearly a full half for collaros to out pass janarion grant last game. Thenoffense is pretty ******* limited with both qbs.
  8. He's getting his chance now... if it keeps looking like that then sure try something else. Wasn't working with collaros, we give streveler some games see what happens.
  9. When guys are obviously not cutting it (ie. Kolankowski) you should be giving other players opportunities to try.
  10. I just remember a few years ago Brown getting into it on the radio with oshea about the country club training camp for vets
  11. I don't think Brown has ever really gotten along with Osh.
  12. Yeah i just don't understand why they would dress Cooley and never use him on offense and then go ahead and dress 3 Canadian receivers because reasons... if Mitchell is a guy they feel they can't play then drop him.and bring in some guys who might be able to do something useful on a roster that needs help offensively. Christ apologize to white and bring him back.
  13. Yeah the deep ball was bad, but the receiver was never open either. That was the definition of trying to force something just because. It may not look normal but I got no issues with strevelers arm or accuracy, but I've got grave concerns about every other part of the offense except RB.
  14. It's not that people think he’s a stud, it's that he's shown some potential and we signed him early in the offseason and our receivers blow. So we want to see what a guy like that can do.
  15. The lat month of the season... the only thing this team can do passing right now is short stuff and streveler does that way better than collaros. Probably because he's always having to throw around defensive linemen or linebackers.
  16. so FI or FO... if he's not fitting in why even keep him around? Go find someone else who can contribute.
  17. There's a real lack of play making ability in the receiving corps at the moment. Bunch of OK guys, only Demski can make a play reliably and he's still better suited being 3 or lower in a truly good group.
  18. and collaros had one big game where he hit some deep shots and otherwise has been hot garbage... this team has lots of problems and I think qb is the least of the concerns on offense right now.
  19. 14 points from special teams and 7 from the defense.... so yeah the offense didn't do a ton to help the cause.
  20. yeah streveler is much better at getting the ball out quicker and gives the shorter passes a chance.... Collaros throws ints like they're going out of style intermediate these days too and sure maybe he throws a better deep ball... but I'm not so sure that's true these days either. Both qbs have the same problems, either they both suck (maybe) but more likely there's a pile of other problems going on too.
  21. I completely disagree with that assertation. The fact that both our qbs are struggling with pressure and finding receivers with separation leads me to believe the problems are less QB related and more everything else is a problem
  22. Need a change on the interior of the OL. I dunno which one first but someone.... need some receivers other than Demski who can make a play. Stearns is OK but not a top 2 type guy. Need some play calls that work with what they have... so yeah there's problems on O. Mitchell sits for this? aye yi yi.
  23. He got sacked and threw some ints... same as collaros has been doing. honestly I feel a **** load more confident with streveler over collaros... but when you got Demski and Stearns as your only reliable receivers and an OL that's less than adequate what the **** is going to do? especially with an OC with training wheels on.
  24. Ol sucks, receivers suck, OC sucks... why dress colley if all he's going to do is **** up kick returns? Defense looked much better (bonds aside). Vaval a nice redemption game. So yeah... quit ******* around on offense already. Give your qbs a chance.
  25. What did Mike think of collaros performance the last few weeks?
