Drove into Kelowna Monday evening and left Tuesday midday, wasn't even very smokey now it turns out it's all on fire on the west side. Crazy stuff hope everyone is safe.

Yeah other than Toronto being perpetually a problem in my mind Calgary is the worst off franchise at the moment in terms of potential crisis. Edmonton will be fine when they fix the onfield product. Calgary just doesn't seem to care about the cfl and that includes the owners.

The cancer center being built at the foothills campus is not anything to do with the UofC. UofC has a couple buildings there but that area is mostly to do with the foothills hospital. Honestly I think building the stadium in the same spot isn't a problem, the problem is that no one wants to pay for it. The hockey arena is what the focus was on, cfl is an after thought in this city.

It was moreso going with Daley that screwed things than firing Ritchie. Firing Berry was a mistake, the bigger mistake was going with Kelly. Don't fire people and replace them with worse people.

we won't lose Walters. If it comes down to the cap being a problem then give Ritchie Hall a well earned retirement and hire a younger defensive coordinator and save money there. Boom Walters is back.
