If that hit went to a review and the CFL didn't call it a penalty they have no defense when they get sued other than trying to say the players are submitting to head trauma by playing the sport. You both aren't allowed to lead with your head (this has been a rule as long as football has been a sport) and you're also not allowed now to have an opponents head or neck be the main point of contact.

They have targeted several QB's and signed them to a guaranteed $500,000 US, you can see who was in the draft last week. Many of them are borderline NFLers who otherwise would be waiting for a call. Will be interesting to see if they go after guys like Masoli, who is pretty well-known since he started in the PAC12 and SEC.
