  1. they who?
  2. yes after 2024 he will be talked about a lot.
  3. That's not what I'm doing. I'm trying to bring some perspective. That's it. I can't believe that trying to bring some sort of message of conciliation is being dumped on. Actually I can totally believe it. And that's why the divisiveness won't end any time soon. LOL
  4. Lovely. Drop the anger and look back a few posts. I agree with you.
  5. Good points.
  6. Jared Kushner apparently was a hero of the NAFTA proceedings, in that he was able to keep both sides talking between Canada and the US. This has been confirmed by several sources. He might be a good choice.
  7. no bullshit. Just have a lot of experience. The Democrats are just as dirty. Just ask Bernie Sanders.
  8. on this we can agree. As much as I think the Dems are bozos, Trump is even worse.
  9. LOL - there's no "whataboutism" going on here. Just trying to state that the black and white Repubs BAD! and Dems GOOD! is not really true, and just telling people you hate them if they don't 100% agree with you doesn't really solve anything.
  10. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/how-nikki-haley-played-the-white-house-game-—-and-won/ar-BBOalna?ocid=spartanntp Nikki Haley resigns, big loss for the UN and the world. I really liked how she stood up to the anti-Israeli bullies at the UN. I hope they can find someone just as strong to fill her giant shoes.
  11. no I'm saying that both parties play games, and both have dirty hands. You can say that the Democrats are the shining white knights of American politics, but that just makes you look horribly naïve.
  12. LOL - ok - anyway, it's too bad you keep using words like "hate" and promoting violence towards others. There are some deep-seated problems here that need to be worked out. This isn't even our country for goodness' sakes. Would you guys be getting this worked up about a judge appointment in Uruguay? To the point of actually saying you "hate" someone who disagrees with you?
  13. I think that is a bit myopic. The Republicans delayed Garland's hearings, which was dirty pool, and the Democrats would have done the same with Kavanaugh if they could have. Both parties are guilty of the same games. I realize I will be blasted for saying this, but I really don't care. The Democrats have dirty hands too. It will take someone in the middle to get some kind of reconciliation done. Just say F--- em all the time just means that you are going to lose.
  14. As history has shown, most of them won't. Old people vote, young people not so much.
  15. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/court-mood-is-jovial-as-kavanaugh-takes-his-place-on-bench/ar-BBO8dZ2?ocid=spartanntp
  16. I think that there are a lot of people on the fence, that probably would vote Democrat again, if they weren't being told how stupid and evil they are all of the time. As soon as someone says anything that isn't 100% acceptable to the leftist intelligentsia, they are immediately branded an "alt-right extremist". It's like trying to talk politics with my indoctrinated 16 year old niece. Everything is so black and white, and that's a sure way to polarize. Try watching the movie "Lincoln" sometime. Especially the scene where he is trying to talk moderation to Tommy Lee Jones, who just wants to burn down the South and punish everyone, especially the Democrats, who were pro-slavery at the time (imagine a time when the Republicans were the good guys - weird eh??). Lincoln explains that a compass may point true north, but if you just rely on your compass, you'll end up in a swamp. There are ways to get things done, just like there are ways to bring people together. And that means getting over the anger, and finding ways to work together again.
  17. I've been hearing that for awhile. I really hope that you are wrong.
  18. You really need to calm down. You are going to have a coronary. I think the only way back from this anger is someone to try and be conciliatory. Democrats will have a much better chance that way. That's my opinion.
  19. What's your plan to end the divisiveness Big Shoots? Why can't I post stuff I see from the Left? Does it embarrass you? Very confusing.
  20. This was posted on Twitter by the Design Lead at Google about the Republican party. He said more but I didn't post it as the language was too foul. I fear that there is no way this divisiveness is going away any time soon.
  21. Yup. Will Republicans still control all three levels of government when that happens? At this point I don't see anything changing. Just angry people getting angrier.
  22. ok so build on that.
  23. what are the Democrats principles and morals exactly? Maybe they should focus on that instead of mud slinging, as that strategy isn't working. Last night on SNL Colin Jost said that he blamed Dems like Corey Booker partly for Kavanaugh being confirmed, because the Dems called him "evil" right out of the gate, and had no where else to go after that. Interesting thought.
  24. one game - only one game...but yeah liked what I saw out there. What were the lines again?
