111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
I don't know , brother but when it looked pretty clear, that when they didn't want this to be a match of your o-line plus Brady versus our d-line plus Wynton, we took Lawler from you.

And here's the tough one. I'm not going to get into this now because it's late and I'm standing under the cold November rain smoking my second Monte Cristo number 2 and nursing three fingers of MacAllan... Maybe we'll get into this more as the weeks go on... But Winnipeg's Trinity has a blind spot: it doesn't churn the roster.

I think that the key part of your post jbr, and I hesitate to point this out because I got static for this 2 years ago, was that at halftime RD showed his superiority in adjustments over OSH.

I don't disagree with you Mark, because I think that is an area where we had the edge and it was pretty clear... But when Winnipeg's game plan show that they weren't even going to test it, it's just kind of a chickens*** surrender and it gave us a lot of latitude in how we played against your offence.

111th Grey Cup- Argos vs Bombers GDT
Why would anyone laugh at that? The second half of the season the bombers were the best team in the league. There are some players and coaches who could get trimmed and restaffed but honestly this is a team that should be back looking to come first in the west again.

Game over. Season over. Trophy presentation done. Congratulations on a 5 year period that I can honestly say I've never seen my own storied team come close to. I'm heading out onto my deck to have a premium cigar and a Macallan to toast another season gone. I'll be toasting you guys as well, hopefully we get to do it again in a year. And to all a good night.

We'll have lots of time to discuss this in the months ahead, respectfully, Cory I beg to differ, hard.

He's still out there playing on one ankle. Buck Pierce does not deserve Nic Dempski.

Be fair, Oliveira was excellent .. when they let him play.

We have to. We don't have a short yardage game at all. That ridiculous third down where we take a procedure penalty trying to draw the other team? We've done that all year. It's worked zero times.

Weird that anybody would think that Toronto are the good guys... We always wear the black hat in this town.

FWIW, Ottawa and Montreal both did a lot of that to us. I expect we'd see it.

Argos just can't afford to fall behind by too much, too early. it'd likely be their death knell and the start of a 3 hour party for you guys. If I'm O'Shea, I would go after Arbuckle and force him to beat me. I would throw knock-out blow deep routes to Lawler and attempt to make Toronto chase me on the scoreline. Force the Argos to go one dimensional with their offence. I just don't see how we'd be able to be in any sort of shootout and have a good chance at winning. Argos need to weather the storm. Argos need to grind out drives and eat up time of possession. Argos need to tilt the field with their punt/kick/return advantages. Defenders and specialists need to steal the ball and hopefully factor in the scoring. Unsettle Collaros, get after him and disrupt his timer. Wear them down and create a situation where our 3 running backs can see the game out for us in the late game. It's a lot. But we don't have our main man available so as I said before... the margin for error is mercilessly small.
