Demski couldn’t run this year, and we didn’t have another Canadian WR on the roster (or the PR even) to replace him. Far down the list of reasons for the loss, just another example. Actually it says a lot about our PR use too, which has been abysmal the last few seasons.

I think Terry Wilson will be a good one too. He’s clearly got the arm strength and honestly looks as good or better than Brown did when he first got here. Still think they should have put Dolegala in last night though, experience counts for a lot in that situation.

Yeah, no more creative ST stuff, rarely even throws a challenge flag. Really, zero innovation on offence or ST for 3 years straight now. Even on defence it took a bunch of shitty personnel at DL and LB to evolve it into a gimmick, that while somewhat successful, I’m not convinced is sustainable.

Yeah, both seem to be one trick ponies. If teams don’t let them play video game football, there’s never another answer. It’s hit the deep shots, or suck uncontrollably. Buck (and MOS too honestly) don’t out scheme anyone ever. It’s win or lose on pure talent only.

Bottom line is this team just can’t figure out Toronto, it’s been like that since 2019. We’ve been outcoached in every single game against them.

Toronto built their team in the image of the 2019/21 Bombers. We had that and rebuilt it into the 2019/21 Tiger-Cats.

The most positive thing I can say right now is at least 2019 happened. Beat the drought in the last game Cuthbert called, not to mention the last pre-Covid one, when sports in general felt more important. In my lifetime, I did get to see my team shitkick their opponent in a championship game. I did not believe I’d ever be able to say that previously. At the time I said whatever the Bombers do after this, I’m good. Granted, trying to hold myself to that now is a challenge but this isn’t 01, 07 or even 22. Also, they still porked the Riders.

How do you think it would look with Wallace and Dobson’s roles reversed? Dobson seems like he’d fit better as a 6th in run sets or max protect only. To me he looks like he has cement feet in pass pro.

Yup, Smith would have been 100x better than Lucky returning, I meant botching the Grant situation. And like you said, Walters is the boss. Part of being a good boss is not micromanaging, but part of it is also stepping in when the people underneath are clearly ******* up.

A lot of anger right now, but at this point I feel like I just can’t watch this offence anymore. Either get some receivers that can win a contested ball or get a QB/OC that can play the intermediate game without shitting all over themselves. It’s been Brady and the square pegs for years now.

1. Buck. Terrible gameplay, no adjustments. They have the best player in the league and used him like he’s Milanovich-Litre. Buck Pierce is a shitty CFL OC, straight up. 2. Lucky. Worst returner around these parts since Perry Floyd. Fumbling without being touched is inexcusable in the regular season, never mind the grey cup. 3. Demski, worst game of the season, and worst season of his career. D was just average mostly, Willie had a good game. The secondary was hit and miss. Rest of the front 6 were atrocious. Tony Jones in particular was dogshit. This team is mentally weak and it starts with the coaching staff.
