QFT. Also, it's one thing to be shot up for pain so you can play but it's quite another when you start getting hit (Fajardo) as opposed to doing the hitting (Streveler). One is a Chevy Cavalier, the other is a Silverado.
It'll be just like last year, only better.
How the hell do you defend against ... it's Harris, whoops, it's Streveler, whoah, it's Demski, oh damn, it's neither, it's a 50 yarder to Adams, no wait, it's a crosser to Lawler or Bailey?
I respectfully disagree. Collaros is far more mobile and can extend plays with his legs. Nichols is so slow that he generally doesn't even try to avoid the collapsing pocket and just braces for impact. I believe Collaros also throws a more accurate, catch-able ball. His deep ball is better and he has much better touch on those short, hit-the-receiver-in-stride screen passes. If Collaros continues to show as he has and can manage to stay healthy he may be well worth a first-round pick.
This is flat out wrong. BLM was constantly changing his release point, either throwing over-the-top rainbows to get the ball over Jefferson's outstretched arms, and/or throwing around/into coverage because he couldn't see the field properly due to the passing lanes being plugged up with Bomber defenders. Seems you're the only one that can't/won't see that.
One of the things that contribute to dropped balls are receivers that know they're about to get pummeled. Gone were the easy passes into the soft spots in the zone that were there to be exploited in the other games. This time the Calgary receivers had to compete for every catch.
Lighten up, gcn11. Once you get past Noeller's crusty exterior he's alright. The crustiness is actually a part of his style. Think of him as the crusty old man on Seinfeld ...
1. Andrew Harris - for being Andrew Harris. The opposition can't ignore him and it opens everything else up.
2. Nic Demski - You can't teach speed and the way he pulled away from the Calgary defenders on his TD gallop was tres impressive.
3. Chris Streveler - Calgary had no answer for this locomotive coming down the track with a full head of steam.
HH - To whoever made the speech in the locker room at half time. That was NOT the same team in the second half that played in the first half. Wow!
