We're talking about the same MBT who had 160 rushing yards this season? To compare, Streveler rushed for more yards in his best two games this year (August 23 - 95 yards, and October 19 - 85 yards)... as a backup (his total rushing for the year was 726 yards).

What I was remembering was the plays for MBT when they broke down, when he tried to make something out of nothing.....when he ran head first into the opposition because he wanted to win.  On those plays he looked like he was attacking the defence just like Big Chris would..

I don't think you could find more of a pocket passer than MBT vs more of a running QB in Streveler.

They could not be more different.

K he's a pocket passer....great.... he also didn't look scared to take off and do it himself either.  So if an offence is facing the QB duo of Chris an MBT they have to keep that in their minds that MBT is a pocket passer ...but the Bombers OC would have the offence trained up with either QB to throw in a lot of different scenarios...

hey 17to85....... that's why it was a question and not an opinion.

If the cost/benefit/risk ratio for Nichols just doesn't look good to Walters, I would be ok with a Bethel-Thompson and Streveler combo. I was surprised at how good MBT looked on occasion in the Keystone Kops offence the Argos ran this year. With a decent O-line and set of receivers and running backs, he ought to look a lot better.

When I watched MBT play and he would have to take off and try to make something out of nothing, I kinda laughed thinking he looked somewhat like Big Chris out there trying to run through people at times.  Then I thought later while some here mentioned his name that I felt MBTs and Strevelers play is similar,  would that not help an OC plan an offence ?

Awesome signing..and yes true testament to the culture and family these dudes have created.

I have no doubt other than an NFL offer that the guys the team wants to keep, will be back as I cant see any wanting to leave if they get fair compensation.

Of all our free agents leaving potentially to a different CFL team it was Woli due to his misuse/underuse here..and him wanting to be utilized..I had fears of him heading to BC..closer to the coast and Cali and the prospect of Reily feeding him 10 balls a game

I wonder if Wolis' comment about the team coming through huge means he was told something about a QB/OC that could get him close to 10 balls a game ?

You didn't agree with what Mr Dee said... and did not ignore him, you contradicted yourself in a matter of two sentences..

I said if I don't like someone's post I ignore it . I neither like or dislike Mr dees opinion...he is entitled to it.  And since it was directed at me I felt he wanted a response.

There are lots of Chris Streveler fans here and about.

There are very few ‘Big Chris’ nickname fans.
That nickname didn’t catch on and is now annoying.

You should just leave it be..

All the bomber fans I know are callin him " Big Chris ".... to each his own eh....

an If I don't like what someone posts here I ignore it and carry on.

surely people here are smart enough to know the difference between someone stating an opinion as a matter of fact and stating an opinion based on how one feels... a fact is a statement that can be proven true or false... an opinion is an expression of a person’s feelings that cannot be proven... if you can prove that it wasn't how I felt or feel then you are correct, I'm wrong, but, good luck with that one, lol...

as an example, if I were to say one of the following:

    a) if you don't know the difference between someone stating an opinion on how they feel or stating an opinion as a matter of fact, then you my friend or an idiot...

    or...

    b) if you don't know the difference between someone stating an opinion on how they feel or stating an opinion as a matter of fact, then that causes me great concern...

statement a can be proven to be correct or incorrect... if you're capable of proving that you have an IQ greater than 70 than you are indeed technically NOT an idiot, whether you choose to demonstrate it or not is not relevant...

however, statement b can NOT be proven or disproved as you have no way of knowing whether or not that I indeed have great concerns regarding your reading comprehension abilities, or anything else for that matter... there are no stats, documentation, or narrative otherwise that could substantiate the validity of my statement whether you agree or not...

    it's really not that complicated...

Do goofy images searched for and taken from the internet have any relevance ?

Just to be fair to 66 Chevelle, he wasn't wrong at the time. I think if the trade for Collaros wasn't made & we lost in the semi final to Calgary then MOS probably would have been fired. The locals would have been surly. Not a fan of dredging up old posts just to mock what someone said at the time as we've all been proven wrong here. Except for Skunk when he said Nichols lacked courage or wasn't tough enough because of the genetics he inherited from his parents. There is no way an opinion like that can ever be considered right

I said Nichols wasn't as tough as others who play the game,  an then you asked if that was because of his parents,  I basically said who else would be responsible for his genes. .  And his quick turtling at times might make people question his courage.  My opinion was that we wouldn't win a grey cup with Nichols as the QB.
