  1. Can you break out the QB data for both from Aug. 1 until season's end? I think that you would know why.
  2. Good one. Yes, Buck will have to "buck" that trend, too. I hope that Younger was paying attention to yesterday's game. I saw a lot of ineffective 3-man "rushes" by the Lions. Let's hope that he can come up with a better plan to semi-neutralize Harris.
  3. Amd what a stupid play call by Ottawa!
  4. Speaking of not a good look for Ottawa, are there any uglier, cheaper-looking unis than their's?
  5. I agree about play calling and game plan especially on the O-side of the ball. A thought....Buck used to call the game from "upstairs". I think that he started the season that way but for some reason decided to be on the sidelines. (Gosh, I hope that he has minions upstairs assisting.) Anyway, most, if not all, of the other teams O-coordinators are still upstairs where they can, IMO, get a better feel for what's unfolding on the field. Comments anyone?
  6. Getting back to the game this past Saturday. That was more than a butt-clencher. In fact, I had given up hope. I'm glad the Bombers won but even as a non-football guy, I have to seriously question some of the coaching decisions. The one that was the biggest head-scratcher for me was playing Schmekel and Thomas at the same time. I didn't count the number of times that they had them out there together but the two times that I noticed, they were totally "swatted away" by Montreal's O-line resulting in big plays for the Alouettes. I'm hoping that when watching the video, the coaches will come to their senses and have a Eureka moment....."Maybe we shouldn't have these guys out there together."
  7. I had little faith and wrote them off. What a bizarre finish. Go Bombers Go!
  8. We're done today. Hopefully, Stamps come to play tonight.
  9. No effing pressure
  10. Is it my imagination or are they picking on 24?
  11. It appears that when those two guys are on together bad things happen.
  12. Anyone else totally annoyed with those air horns?
  13. Aside from those 60 yarders, he's been less than ordinary.
  14. They showed him on the sidelines with helmet off after a breakup that he made and he looks like a kid (young looking) playing high school ball. Good potential there, I believe.
  15. I haven't been a fan of Kramdi. However, he has been playing well of late.
  16. I'm 73 and have some depth perception issues. Brandon Alexander played that like I would. He is done.
  17. I didn't see the Ottawa Brown hit but the hit on Collaros in the LDC was deliberate. The replay(s) to my eyes anyway showed that Brown gave it that "little extra" with his right shoulder. With the Streveler hit, Brown was going down or was down and he he grabbed Streveler at least at the knee. If the rules state that that's a low hit....... That's three strikes this year. Does he get a call from the Commisioner?
  18. Another fantastic punt!
  19. I'm also disappointed in Whitehead as a returner.
  20. Well, so much for adjustments on D.
  21. Any chance that both sides of the ball make some halftime adjustments? If they don't, we're in trouble.
  22. 2nd and long and throw for 4. Yikes!
  23. I wasn't a fan of the earlier D and now not a fan of Buck's play calling on O.
  24. I'm not a fan of this no pressure defense.
