  1. Why would you be surprised if Castillo is back? He had a great year & our kicking game wasn't in turmoil. Why would the Bombers get rid of him? If they do, then whatever happens kicking wise that's bad is on them. Just like 2022.
  2. What's this Fort Hew stuff I read from some of you guys?
  3. When that FG in the GC was blocked, I jumped up screaming! "I knew that SOB would miss!! I knew it!!" Even though it was blocked I had zero confidence he would make it. I just knew that there was a good chance Liegghio would miss. Sure it was blocked but Dunigan was saying in their regular season kickoff show that he shanked it anyway had it not been blocked. Meanwhile, Castillo was virtually money all season. I have no idea why we don't lock him up on a 2 or 3 year deal. It's great that Liegghio had a fine year in Hamilton but there's still a part of me who would never trust him when the chips are down. I'm glad he's gone.
  4. McMahon's life should be endless lawsuits that keep him tied up in the courts until that worm finally dies. I doubt he'll go to jail as he can afford the best lawyers money can buy.
  5. How long is his term? Renegotiate, if p;ossible. If he wants to come back, He needs a shave & a haircut financially. Imagine if he did come back & he became a 45 goal scorer again. I assume after playing under Torts that his defensive efforts would have improved.
  6. The usual suspects. Ottawa or Edmonton who constantly overpay for free agents. There's former XFL & USFL players now available as well. Two hundred thousand is too much. Let him walk & we'll see what the market brings. By all means, Walters sgould present him with a contract but as a take it or leave it offer.
  7. Storylines are completely stale. The Bloodline. Time to end it. Take away Roman's title. Stop pushing Solo Sikoa. The Judgement Day. Get rid of that useless JD McDonagh. And to blow it up as well. Finn vs Priest would be a helluva feud. Dominic can go back to being a bottom feeder on the WWE roster along with McDonagh. Rhea Ripley can go on dominating the Women's side of the WWE. But I hardly watch anymore as the storylines have been the same for years.
  8. Harris checked out of FIFO & the Bombers let him walk. BO is years younger & in a lot better shape while Harris was basically finished as proven by his playing time with the Argos. However, I assume the same thing will happen here which will free up a lot of money to sign others.
  9. Should the Jets trade for Laine? Something tells me now that Wheeler & Maurice are gone, he might thrive here once again.
  10. Like we didn't know that already. They can all afford high powered & expensive lawyers.
  11. Someone will always sign these guys. What the hell? It's only sexual misconduct or assault, right? The Oilers signed Perry. Look how the Jets closed ranks to protect Cheveldayoff who should have been fired by Chipman. Instead, that whole bizarre news conference, it was like Chevy was the real victim. The questions I have are, after the money has been paid & these non disclosure agreements signed, can they be challenged in the courts? Can the settlements be overturned & players formerly protected now be charged? Imagine if they could be, wow. I agree every player who did this to a woman needs to face their day in court for what they did. Especially as millions of dollars have been paid out to hide it. As well as HC execs who went along & approved the cover ups.
  12. Why would the Argos do that? Their ratio is set & Ouelette is exactly the same kind of back as Brady. That & the fact he's probably the best known Argo in a cluelesss city when it comes to the CFL doesn't make it smart to change. Survey says... Not. A. Chance.
  13. I hate to say this because I'm an old white man. But the old white guys running the league have no clue or refuse to spend any money to grow the CFL. There definitely need an infusion of new blood, new money & new ideas. They've allowed the CFL to atrophy for decades & now it's almost on life support. Yeah, that sounds great. Go from being married & living in an apartment, condo or actual house in the US with your wife & kids to living in a basement apartment with two other teammates if you're in Vancouver, Calgary or BC. Such is the life of a pro football nomad not playing in the NFL. That would suck.
  14. You bet. Zach's having a good time & good on him. Could you imagine if an entertainer like Swift was dating a CFL player? The popularity of the league & the eyes on it would explode. The CFL can only wish for the kind of coverage Taylor Swift would give them. Which brings up another question, why doesn't the CFL try to reach out to entertainers & actors to come to their games to be seen & heard? The league has no clue how to do anything to get the crowds back & interest up. Every year, the same damn thing...
  15. Zach's agent does the work & then tells him the numbers & they agree or disagree. then the agent talks to Walters. So,Zach has no worries & can keep partying. You know what? As far as Zach goes, good for him to be in on what's going on. We'd all trade places with him.
  16. The market has seemed to have changed again for starting qbs. The numbers are going down while the salaries for backups seem to be going up. As I said before, I'd like to see Zach restructure to give the Bombers a little more breathing room to sign our key free agent veterans that we truly need. If I know how the GMs in the CFL do business, I'm sure Walters has already approached Zach to restructure his deal.
  17. He's 36 & hasn't played in something like 7 years. I agree that his days are done as a qb, But this is Jim Harbaugh we're talking about here... If anyone is unconventional, it's him.
  18. I'm stoked to see what Harbaugh can do with Justin Herbert. Would he bring back Colin Kaepernick? He played his best football under Harbaugh. With the new sherrif running the Chargers, they may stop being the afterthought in Los Angeles behind the Rams.
  19. My condolences to the Malveaux family. He was a pretty good ball player & won a Grey Cup with the Stamps in 2001. Just 47 years old. Probably still has a young family. As has been shown this week with Bruce Covernton & Malveaux, we never know when our time is finished on this earth. All of us should be happy for the opportunity to grow old.
  20. Why did they get rid of the Grand Big Mac? That was the size the regular Big Mac was twenty years ago.
  21. Actually, if truth be known their pizza wasn't that bad.
  22. We must've angered the hockey gods. What a bad string of injuries. This is why Jets fans can't enjoy good things.
  23. It's Bowl Way, don't you know??? I wouldn't touch one of those bowl meals with a 10 foot pole as they look disgusting. It's like when McDonald's sold pizza. Subway is way outside it's comfort zone with that ****.
  24. I'd have loved for us to pry Powell out of Hamilton. Too bad we didn't trade Brown to Hamilton for him. That kid is going to be a good one. They should be giving him more playing time & not a physically wrecked BLM.
