We just had a gimmee against the Alouettes so it all evens out. Wally a better head coach? Maybe in 2005 but not now. He's disengaged on the sidelines. The game is constantly evolving & he looks like it's already left him behind. At times he just looks like he's going thru the motions. Don't for one minute think it was Wally who rallied the troops. As far as assistant coaches go for the Lions, there really isn't one coach there that I'd want here. Except perhaps for Reinebold as he is a good STC.
Simonise isn't as ready as Petermann. He should play slot & not Wolitarsky. Leave him where he is for now. Eventually Wolitarsky should move to slot. Probably not this year.
Or we could inexplicably win. Man, I bet that you're the life of the party when you have a few drinks. Like the mattress salesman who says he has a passion for sleep & expects everyone there to share his passion. Or the life insurance salesman who ran out of family members to prospect. You must be a whole lotta fun.
Thirty eight year olds just don't die in their sleep. He did have a weight problem when he played. His weight held him back as a player & led to his eventual release from the Stampeders. Never played for another team. But just so sad.
Former Stamps DT Mike Labinjo has died much too young. Breaking news this afternoon... He was 38.

Can you see this team winning another game? Sorry but I can't. We play Edmonton on the road next week, then Ottawa on the road the following week, then the Riders & Calgary at home ending the season in Edmonton on the road. Yikes.
Bombers came into that game so full of themselves that they thought Calgary would just roll over. They had no respect for the Stamps. Ritchie didn't have the team ready to play as they were too busy showing off in font of the cameras & talking trash into the mics all week. I remember being ticked off the entire time that Ritchie didn't put a lid on it. No way Calgary was the better team & yet they won.
