The cold light of reality is now staring us straight in the face. This could get ugly fast. As in Drew Willy 2016 ugly.

Saying they weren't open is throwing them under the bus? Did you watch video of the game? You're not giving any credit to the other team's defense. I'd say it's fact. They came to play as well. When you have Julio Feoli Giudino as one of the starting receivers you throw to then that is a very weak receiving group.

So then, it is his fault. He's not tough enough, according to you. What you said was assinine.

Our receivers are being wasted in this offense. It's a real shame as there is talent there that just isn't being used properly. How many will want to come back here next season if LaPo is our OC? Why would they want to?

People are concerned that while Streveler is athletic does he have the tools to play at a high level as the starter? Can he throw accurately? Can he read defenses. Can he go through his progressions? Can he find the open man when all hell is breaking loose around him? How well does he know the offense? That's some of the concerns & we'll begin to find out next week in Edmonton.

You saying Nichols isn't tough enough so the injury is his fault. You sure you weren't hit in the head?

Tell you what. I want you to put your left hand on a heavy metal table palm down. Hold it there & don't move it. Then I'll hit it as hard as I can with a sledgehammer & crush it. We'll see if you are okay afterwards & you have any broken bones. Or if you even cried out in agony. Some guys are tougher at handling that stuff... it's just my theory.

Being Nichol's throwing shoulder & arm it is going to slow down the recovery time. He'll have to build the strength back up before he can play. I can see this as being a season ending injury.

Glenn would be the only one who could help this team. Looking around the CFL there aren't a lot of backups waiting to show they're ready. Please not Brandon Bridge.

Don't know how you can say don't blame LaPo when his decision to take out Nichols resulted in an interception that changed the momentum of the game. You can say what you want about Nichols in the pocket but that was as dumb a coaching decision as I've ever seen. He deliberately took his foot off the gas. Anyone who says that LaPo didn't negatively influence the game with his coaching decisions is wrong.

That was the most frustrating thing I saw as a Bomber fan in a long time. I have no idea what LaPo is even thinking.

We really saw it on display tonite in the second quarter. Our O was pouring it on& he decided to kill it.

Hope you're right. But don't you think it's already stupid to treat Streveler that way if that is the case? I can't see LaPo doing that. It just makes no sense. Streveler goes to the same meetings Nichols does. He watches the same videos Nichols does. Breaks down the same defense Nichols does. Has the same playbook Nichols has. Yes, maybe Streveler has set plays he will run but he is expected to know that playbook cold.

On the pick it looked like it wasn't a designed play but Streveler was freelancing. Yeah, a receiver was open but he had no time to throw the ball.

He looked lost Mike. He didn't look like a confident qb ready to show the CFL he can be a starter at all. Hw many reps would Fajardo in Sask have had going into the season with Collaros the starter before he concussed? Or Arbuckle in Calgary with an entrenched BLM as the starter with a new long term contract. Bo Levi Mitchell demands & gets 90% of the reps with the first team here during practice all week. I'm sure it was the same for Collaros. Yet they both have shown that they can play in this league when they got the chance. For our sake, I hope Streveler bounces back & shows us he can be a viable long term starter if Nichols is out for any length of time.

Streveler should have only got short yardage plays. Then once he gets the first down then pull him out & put Nichols in. No, instead LaPo keeps Streveler in. He panics & he throws a pick. Momentum shot. Question is why? Nichols didn't look lost. Neither did Reilly. They were the starters. There was no reason to do that.

Been saying that all season. LaPo gets cute. Then he gets scared. Then he gets conservative. Nichols was playing well so he did his best to shut him down with playcalling & qb strategies that left a lot to be desired. Taking out Nichols putting in Streveler just killed our momentum.

He may close it even further if Streveler can't grasp the playbook. From what I saw tonite we should be very worried if Nichols is out any length.
