The Riders don't have any of that. Just Kevin Glenn. Who like I said is making his 3rd appearance as a Rider (recycle, reduce, reuse), say what you want about our situation. But you're legit insane if you think the bombers & riders are close in the qb department - as it stands right now.
You think LeFevour is a better backup than Bridge? Not a chance, there is a reason why he cannot stay on a team. No one wants him as a designated backup. And Davis is nothing to look at. Atleast I know our QB situation is terrible, you guys need to accept that your QB situation is one hit away from being just as bad as the Riders.

I wasn't being slanderous towards posters, mods, the riders org or Brouilette himself even, it was simply an opinion amidst several people pointing out he was an eastern all star like it validated him being a huge improvement over Hecht. If you disagree with me, argue the point. but I get a msg from CRF saying people are sick of my **** and banned for a week.
if that's the kinda BS that gets you banned cuz i'm not a rider fan, and after reading so much junk written by "rider fans" slamming jones and co and players with not even so much as a slap on the wrist. this is pretty much the look that says it all
I don't agree with how those guys run that site. Some of those people over there need to walk away from the keyboard.

First off.....Vince Young still hasn't signed. And if he does there is still a chance he may not even make it to camp. If he can play ball keep him. If he can't move on. There is zero risk to talking to him.
Secondly....the Riders are in much better shape to make a trade this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see something happen. I'm not sold on Franklin yet.

It's hilarious that you Bombers fans bash Jones because he doesn't have a QB plan. Last year you guys had Drew Willy. And then mid season Nichols came and boom your team became good again. You literally were in just as bad of a spot and you made it better.
All the Riders need is POTENTIALLY one trade and they could do the same thing the Bombers did. That's why the CFL is so great.

Getting a kicker is much easier than a National RB.
And Winnipeg signed Medlock AFTER signing the National RB.
You also had the money to spend last year, The Riders did not.

What a silly comment. Jerome was going into free agency the following year and there was no guarantee he would re-sign in Saskatchewan. Sask then got a draft pick and one hell of a young kicker (who has the potential to be a star kicker in the CFL). So frankly, it was a great trade. Having Messam would be nice yes, but as Winnipeg has found out several times, having a quality kicker is also important.

How do people on Riderfans know this? They don't. None of them are best buddies with Jones and personally its all talk and chatter. Owens is there for a reason. My only possible guess is they plan on trading away Roosevelt, Collins, or Edwards.

It's been mentioned multiple times by multiple sources that the Riders had the best position in terms of cap space in 2016.

I'm still not impressed with him. Hasn't done much, however, he is young and has time to get better. Just a good indication that spot is all Canadian.
