  1. Ive read that delusion can be transmitted via watermelon-to-scalp contact....
  2. One of the biggest cheers of the night went to the guy who had a Riders Suck sign at a Ti-Cat game lol. Love it!
  3. Yeah i thought Alford had a good game despite Acklin making some catches on him. He was on Acklin like glue for the most part. Acklin just made some really nice catches.
  4. It wasnt great but it was unprecedented so not surprised. They had QR scanner people that would come to you in line and scan your QR code + ID before you got to the ticket checker. So by the time you got to the ticket checkers, they would have just assumed that you would have already had your QR code scanned. Problem was people were standing in one line, getting fed up, then jumping in a new line. So i imagine it was really hard for these QR checkers to remember who they scanned and who they didnt yet. It seemed like it would have been really easy for someone to bypass the QR checkers and just go directly to the ticket scanners. Hopefully that wasnt happening.
  5. Yeah the concessions were terrible. 30+ minute wait for beer and lines that went on for days. They need to add some staff and speed up the process big time.
  6. Yeah he said that during training camp. He told Lawler this year if he sees him one on one he's going to throw it up and let him go get it. He's got tons of confidence in Lawler.
  7. He doesnt remember what losing feels like anymore lol!
  8. He's now been ruled out for the season and is having surgery. The poor get poorer.
  9. Fur coats are getting d-musted in the garage, cowboy hats are in the truck, and jean shorts are being cut!
  10. You think its bad now?? Just wait until the Omega-Mu variant hits!
  11. He's been limited but still practicing.
  12. MBT starting for the Argos! Hope his ancestors are ready! Nick Arbuckle who?
  13. Yeah and has exactly 1 game of CFL experience. Yum yum yum yum 😈
  14. Yeah, he was more of a quick short pass, then take it to the house kinda guy. I'd argue Darvin was our primary deep threat.
  15. Thats seems really stupid.... Youre going to funnel 30,000+ people into one gate. Dear god.
  16. I think that has a lot to do with it. Matt Nichols is no Khari Jones. Nichols won a lot of games and played well for the most part but was not a guy you want throwing 40+ passes a game like Khari. Lapo knew what he had and played to its strengths. Great running back and ok QB. Hand the ball off 20 times, throw high percentage shorter passes, and control the game. And when we would get behind by a couple scores it was usually lights out. Nichols isnt a world beater and does not play well when forced to throw. Zach can beat you with his arm and likes to take chances down the field, much more so than Nichols who was VERY risk averse. I cant remember how many times we were down by a couple scores late in games over the years, and Nichols is still trying to nickel and dime himself down the field with 5 yard throws. Buck knows Collaros is more gun-slinger than Nichols. Add in the fact that Harris is 2 years older, and i think you'll see Buck open up the passing game much more this season.
  17. Believe it or not Rob Vanstone from the Regina Leader post picked the Riders to finish 4th in the west! But wait for it......ahead of the Bombers lol. Here is his take on the Bombers this season through his green colored glasses: Also of note is the fact that the Blue Bombers do not have a ready-made understudy to the fragile Zach Collaros, whose late-season excellence in 2019 powered the team to its first Grey Cup title since 1990. Winnipeg’s top offensive weapon, tailback Andrew Harris, is 34 and already sidelined by an injury. The Bombers’ offensive personnel, as a whole, is unremarkable. Consider, too, that Paul LaPolice is no longer the Bombers’ offensive co-ordinator. He is now the Redblacks’ head coach and, uh, good luck with that. LaPolice has been succeeded in Winnipeg by Buck Pierce, who may encounter growing pains as a first-year CFL offensive co-ordinator. So Winnipeg, from this perspective, appears to be a house of cards.
  18. False. The answer we were looking for is: Nye is a watermelon wearing, cousin kissing jackass.
  19. I see Nye is back with his weekly predictor on CFL.CA . I know youre all going to be shocked, but he's picked the Riders with 100% certainty on his confidence meter lol. And ofcourse picked Hamilton to win too. I think there was one year a while back where IIRC he picked against the Bombers every week for the entire season.
