  1. I have no idea why they've gone away from using Streveler more often, like they did last year. I think it helps Nichols by keeping the defence on edge.
  2. Do we blame him for dropping a pass perfectly into a receivers hands in the end zone but it gets bobbled?
  3. In all honesty, the Lions could use some OC experience and would benefit from Lapo, so he would have to be part of the trade. But, yeah, they wouldn't work well together, I don't think.
  4. So, based off the Bourne movie series?
  5. The PA system is not designed for use outdoors. It needs to be replaced (and I'm not being hyperbolic, it actually needs to be replaced).
  6. No, no, it didn't. I never understood singing drummers. Don't you get winded playing the drums? He had on these super pointy and long shoes. Kind of jelly of them, TBH.
  7. He's too old now. Although, I heard he's selling his house. Maybe he'll get promoted.
  8. NFL is a good development league for the CFL. We got Bighill from that league. If he's lucky, he'll catch on again with CFL team. Good luck Bryant!
  9. The sooner the Bombers move onto Streveler, the sooner this board can move onto ogling McGuire.
  10. So, what you're saying is that they never played together, so Franklin never outplayed Nichols. Got it.
  11. Can you please point me to the season where Franklin played better than Nichols for the Eskimos?
  12. You probably got better replays than I did, so I'll defer to your view. However, live, I said it wasn't a catch right away even before the ref checked with the Stamps bench to see how to call it. The replay I did see it appeared as though it was moving in his hands.
  13. 1 - Grant. Two TDs. Beast. 2 - Sayles. Made some serious big plays. I'm not sure how he covered that much field but he did. The INT in the endzone was the turning point, IMO. 3 - Harris. Hate putting him at 3 because it devalues what he did. HH - Hallett with the hit of the game, forcing the turnover. Took a 15 yarder earlier, which was a bit rough but made up for it.
  14. Happy we won. Got darn nervous near the end. Our O is basically a running O. If we're not handing it off on a run, we're dinking it off for what amounts to a run. That's too bad because we have some seriously skilled guys who can make plays downfield. Although, when the ball is thrown to them, they have to make plays. Tarsky and Matthews blew two big plays. The reffing was god awful. Horrid. Embarrassing. In life, find someone who will hold you like the Stamps hold the Bombers and you'll never be lonely.
  15. All those coaches won. Lots of coaches are unpopular and fade away.
  16. It means that they'll be able to add players down the stretch as they shake loose from the NFL.
  17. I can't believe people are clamouring for Khari Jones? I love the guy but he did so little as an OC, he backed into the HC job. Montreal has talent and is on an emotional run but let's not hand him any awards quite yet.
  18. To be fair, J5V has had this rhetoric for ages.
  19. Good, consistent leadership at the top. The Stamps don't win every year but they field a competitive team because the have good, consistent leadership at the top. That's what we're doing now and people want to throw that away for the unknown? Yikes.
  20. It's windy. I was walking around at lunch and it was blustery in many places. But, EC says it's going to calm down. Certainly no gale force winds.
  21. Labour Day will be their reckoning! (Or, at least, it better be because I'll be there) September is brutal on bad teams.
  22. Did they last eight days? I wonder if a wild animal found them which is why they are confident it's them without being able to confirm it's them.
  23. If I'm at IGF in November, I don't care what the temp is. That being said, I'm never interested in having the sun in my eyes and beating down on me. West Side For Life!
