  1. A lot of jobs could qualify as better paying and more secure, just at macdonalds alone.
  2. Thomas was far under the level of poop + nevis, and ekakatie is behind thomas. Corney is closer but still well back of our 3 headed imp monster that is defensive end as well. miles n briggs are an interesting thought at wil with jsk at mac. This, now more then ever we seem poised to start a ni db (other then saftey) Though I suspect we will see it be on offense to start. Coates, lafrance and wolitarski. Thats a bloody strong rotation. I dont think itll be on the OL short of gray coming sooner then expected. I think we will plug foketi in on the OL. We have an opening for the 7th canadian, but the difference between us and teams in trouble with the ratio is we have a few good options to fill out that 7th spot. And a few good bodies at those positions.
  3. He seems like the kind of up side pick we'd make too. Assuming his head is on straight.
  4. I kinda think he is the norm for our scouting department. Where as the taman types in the past were romanced by great prestigious ncaa careers, I feel like our current regime scouts players no matter the numbers. Tj thorpe, bryan bennett and dom davis etc.
  5. by all that you mean one paragraph of seems likes?
  6. size and running type pinball is a good comparison.
  7. NI wr is still our biggest need imo. Maybe more ni dbs, we have some good young ones that could earn a starting spot at some point. And ofc the same ni ol every one needs every year.
  8. I think his logic is, OL earns the highest value. NCAA pedigree no 2. Sprinkle in who ever is talked about and presto. Im pretty sure some place online you could find a 2022 nba mock draft. In the offseason Ill take what ever football talk is available.
  9. Doesnt seem to have that top speed gear, nor does he seem like a fast twitch blink type. But he always looks to be moving fast. Looks smaller then his listed size to my eye, but he is very compact in build and yeah no fear. Looks like a tough football player. Defense, wr, returner etc. A lot of the small / fast guys seem to be returners who get wedged in at wr. He seems like a fast guy, who also happens to be a blood n guts football player. Not many returners highlights include throwing blocks.
  10. Greenwood is a great athlete, too bad hes not been able to stay healthy and put it together.
  11. sounds like it fits the dccu (sans WW) pretty well of late.
  12. Im a big fan of JSK, and think he can (leaning towards will) make the transition fine to MLB. At that though, wil is a bit of a question. Which ian wild will we see this year, and for how long?
  13. /puke If he does draw it out near that long I imagine we would just pull out of the henoc sweepstakes. They arent gonna leave that much cap room un used in case he decides to play with a winning team instead of a dumpster fire.
  14. Im not usually the type of person to say atoadaso. But atoadaso. A fkin atoadaso.
  15. 200,000 Idk the last digit or the area code though.
  16. Too bad I really liked khaleesi and pops in the previous one. If they hadnt shown too much in teasers, and gotten dumb with the twist itd a been one of the best in the series under t2. It better have michael rooker.
  17. haha. id rather have henoc in all seriousness though. And best post of the off season (prior to henoc signing, coming any day now....) so far!!!!
  18. What the henoc watch isnt thrilling enough?? Off season sucks soo bad. But i swear if we sign henoc, itll be the last time i complain about it... this year...
  19. Looks like this years malcolm carter. Man a canadian with his size and athletic ability, he can be in this league as long as he wants if he works at it.
  20. Original is worlds better, but the tribute is pretty cool and touching.

Yeah i recognized it, im not a believer in that stuff. He would do well to train with cain on a regular basis. Jab or die. But then who knows if cain can even stand for more then 10 minutes at a time any more.
  22. He is an excellent player, but yeah the pass port is the deal maker. We could really use one more starting ni, and hes a play maker at the right position. If we do miss out, Ill be dissapointed. But If we end up starting a NI db and start JSK at mac ill be good with that. Im a big fan of our young ni back ups on D. And of JSK.
  23. Its hard to say where our finances are exactly right now. I feel like we have saved money with the free agency changes, but I might be wrong. If one thing is for sure, the team is very fiscally conservative, I dont think they will go deep into the cap to the point we cant fly in the air lift rookies when the PR expands. I feel like we could have afforded bear woods last year at a similar expense and didnt give much consideration to it. If henoc was an imp, I dont think hed be getting soo much consideration.
  24. Interesting premise. Looking at last years rushing totals, these are the imp backs with 3+ years. Jeremiah johnson (5), tyrell sutton (5), cj gable (6) Also cam marshall has 3 years technically, but played in one game his first year with us. IIRC he was in camp with us at the end of the previous year and all that year on the pr. I might be wrong though, its iffy either way. William powell has played in 2 seasons, but i believe missed the entire 13 and 16 seasons. Having been around for 4 but only played in 2. Masoli is the 10th highest rusher, and clearly a qb of 5 years. Only Alex green with the cats and wilder were rookies. Interesting aberrations below that include brandon whitaker (9 seasons) Mossis madu (3) and Brandon rutley (5). It seems like once a RB shows a flash of any thing up here, they stick and float around up here a long time now. Certianly in that lower tier of sub 500 yard guys you find a fist full of rookies and short term try out guys. But looking at how long powell has been around for how much he has actually played is pretty crazy. Id expect that level of hanging on to a qb not soo much a rb.
  25. If you could combine wilders athleticism and size with every thing else harris, youd have an nfl hofer. With the further division of carries I certainly wouldnt take that bet. Id bet that he is either let go to pursue nfl chances next off season, or throws and even bigger tantrum though. I might avatar bet that he never plays 3 full cfl seasons. He has the best physical tools of any back in the league. Including trent richardson. But those two have the biggest questions other wise. I love big athletic backs. And bruising runners in general. But I worry about a big rb that is soo hesitant to consistently lower the shoudler when hitting the line of scrimmage, little on with contact.
