Yeah, hoping they fall in love with his arm talent and intangibles. Imo his intangibles are stand out in the us. Hard to find a qb with a good head on his shoulders at that level with strong talent. Maybe they feel like he’d be worth seeing how he looks after a year of coaching as he will likely get more out of it than most guys. A lot of QBs that sit pr don’t do much or get much of a shot. And don’t deal well with that reality. I think his not needing to adjust to the Canadian game up here so much as adjust to the game speed could give him an inside track after a year of pr coaching down south. And boy could we use hitting the lotto on a guy like him. Yep. Could’ve traded Zach for actual assets, kept brown, and signed an elite free agent for the price difference. Sickening.

Keys to the game, 1, win on first down. 2 and outs have haunted us this year, largely due to a lack of success on first down. Boy Calgary has been tough on Zach this year. I’m by no means convinced Zach is healthy, especially with the allusions to him getting concussed. 439 yards, 2 tds 4 picks in 2 games vs Calgary this year. They’ve got how to play our O down pat. We need to see some significant wrinkles and adjusted game plan to have a chance. I look forward to seeing the D get a rematch vs vaj but boy I’m not sure about the O vs Calgary.

You can airlift guys, but you really have to dig through a bunch at one position to find a gem, and you have to be willing to play them. Cycling guys on the PR won't yield any players this year. You are right that the nfl air lifts after TC cuts is not what it used to be. We make even less of it than we could, though.
