It's gonna be that real hard talk for him his family and the Dr. Considering If his body will hold up another year and if he's willing to risk another year like this was or worse physically. I hope he's back and able to play. I think its a good chance he will atleast try to play the year. But If he retired I wouldn't blame him in the least.

Right now Brady and augustine are as good as it gets for ni rbs out side of Harris. Neither one is ready for a Harris work load or role. If you want to go ni at rb you need 2 guys. Both Brady and Augustine have waited for a chance to be rb1. No other team has an ol worth a damn a possible rb1 spot and a good amount of touches per game. And I don't think any one will dig deep to pay either more than the Bombers with out that necessary support structure that creates success. The argos tried to corner the market on rbs last year. The Bombers have done it with ni rbs.

I think Harris will be happy to take a home town discount. From the first time his health was an issue. If he wants to play next year and incentive laden deal makes sense. We went hard after him mid season. Especially if we lost some one like Darby he'd fit great here. Like Davis we don't really need to open up the wallet for a db but finding that bigger new style Sam who can play like a Will is hard too. I don't. Who else has the depth to start an ni rb but a back that wouldn't take a starting spot over him. If we do lose 1 rb adding borsa and having another draft gives us plenty of opportunity.

Lewis over Lawler for contested physics catches nah. I'll take Lawler who does it in big games and against a Harder schedule. Lewis is really good. But I'd take weinke over him in that aspect too. Bailey and demski are more physical too.

I bet those dbs can ball. Miller is a classic tweener pass rusher. Crazy explosive but injury concerns. Zuber is a fast 6 foot 190 type. Little bit of experience returning but a wr not a kr guy. Davis is in the mold of Sayles at dt. Far more athletic and rangy then most dts really long guy who can create pressure inside or out and attack the passing lane. He'd be a sneaky good pick up. Bentley is an interesting guy. He was a 5 star prospect out of hs who skipped his senior year. Instead getting the ncaa early. But he battled injuries And consistency. Ended up playing parts of 6 seasons in college. A more than 4 year starter. Not usually the type of guy we target.

If his character as a coach was a qb it'd have the mobility of late Matt Nichols the down field accuracy of Fajardo the arm strength of lefevour the clutch factor of Masoli the poise of dru brown and the head case of Casey printers.

Yeah I mean he's considering just staying here full time. First I love willy and his family if he retires here I'll he thrilled. 2nd willy in 2019 was one of the most dominant defensive forces in league history. I hope willy gets a reasonable salary to stay this year. 2021 willy was a good step back from 18 and 19. He's about to turn 31 and he doesn't look like he's lost a step. Maybe it's the missed season missed pre season or the messed up year. At this point we can't easily replace if we can at all guys like collaros Bailey Lawler biggie ba Darby Castillo or more than 1 starting ol. It feels like Jeffcoat will be hard to retain on the open market. Dl Cbs and hbs we seem to be able to replace easily. If any thing stove is the top priority imo on the dl. So I hope they can reach a good deal maybe heavily incentivesed with a good signing bonus to keep willy. This could be a tough off season. It's hard to keep a championship team together and continue to improve.
