  1. Cmon bombers kick some als ass Wonder how many butts in the seats look good Als running a lot of heavy set
  2. That was a blown play. They pulled like it was a counter trap and the play just went inside. Wonder if dedmon is a fa. I'm sure he will be nfl bound
  3. Gotta put a hand on the pass rusher. Can't just try n body them Imagine if the involved him in the offense. He looked good at rb when Flanders got hurt Meh bt had time and missed it. That should come back too.
  4. They couldve tried to play it smart and sneak out a win today. Which would be huge for them. But instead they poked the hornets nest. This defense loves to play smash mouth football, and the offense loves big plays as much as pounding the ball. Im glad the als chose certain death. Ortolan bunting is on the menu for a hungry bomber team tonight, courtesy of the lol'ouettes.
  5. Qft. Water and hydro power is going to be huge. So long as our govt doesn't mess it up. Hey I know let's sell off all our assets so we stay a have not province forever. Lol sad but I'm hopeful. I love the culture and the out doors and the classic architecture of down town and the exchange the province and city just has such an amazing combination of niches. Idk if my tastes were developed by living here or if I was just lucky but the province has every thing I could want.
  6. Imo all the money and no taste. Doesn't have any of the heart or soul of winnipeg. Edm is like a bigger wealthier but sterile version of Winnipeg.
  7. I'd love to see him here even if it's depth.
  8. That's really cool actually. Thatd make a super cool retrofit cottage. Especially if you keep the store facade.
  9. From what I saw they rotated him out constantly. Between judge, mccoil and muamba Judge has maybe half as many reps as mccoil. Could be hes been banged up too, but Ill tell you what If judge was our starting WIl next year Id be thrilled.
  10. Fans are upset because people around the league are just starting to put respect on the bombers name. And now we get some trash talk from a mid level east division team thats been a disappointment. I dont think they have stones. Remember the guy and his kid who ran on the field and got in a scrum with the lions at the old bomber stadium? Those guys were just freaking idiots. Same thing here. I hope the bombers play extra angry and really step on the als throat after the trash talk. lmao IKR. Harris was on light duties when he was starting. Hes not gonna be rushed back now its none news. I fully expect harris will play some of the last game of the year vs the stumps and start in the play offs if at all humanly possible. For now its a great chance for brady and augustine as well as buck to work in multiple backs.
  11. I love updated classic homes. You just cant beat old architecture. That said Im working on some thing modern but I have experience in modular and micro homes. Really I need as much of a view of the water as possible. I wouldve loved walk out to the water range, but I couldnt resist the price of water view, and 5 minute walk to the lake. Gl on the lotto max, some ones gotta win it right lol.
  12. I find it hilarious that the argos are still running out hughes and ray, the worst DE combo in the league imo. And have cam judge on the bench. The whole league seems soo stubborn and stuck in a keeping up with the joneses. Nearly all the teams trying to run a 4-3 bend but down break match zone D and a 5x1 short passing possession offense. Idk why the league has such an allergy all of a sudden to full time 30 fronts, RPO, and TEs. But one day a team is going to stop trying to follow the mold and they will crush teams till the league adjusts. The amount of good RBs, TEs and KRs who dont get a shot on offense blows my mind. I remember a time when the CFL (especially on offense) was on the cutting edge. Now a bunch of NFL and ton of ncaa teams do soo much more with offense, and the spread than any team here does.
  13. The thing I love most about MB is it has soo many little nooks that are just amazing. Pinawa is a treasure. Gimli and wpg beach is personally my favorite but I have friends in pinawa and love it more every year. Any one who hasnt been should go down during the summer and try out the burger boat. Im building my own deal on developmental land in gimli, I strongly recommend not waiting if you want to build in pinawa. That town is booming. That hoopla island on water water park is a major attraction. (gimli almost got one and I hope they do in the future) Those property values are not going to be going down over the next 20+ years. (And I firmly believe we are in a huge real estate bubble. Building costs and shipping wait times are high, maybe get a trailer up on a vacant lot and rent it seasonally till you are ready to develop it.
  14. What a joke. So on the roster jones slides inside to back up sam, Im sure he will rotate in at a few spots. Alford slides to the other corner and rose goes back into his old spot. Oleary orange draws in to back up woli, I hope he gets some looks. And it looks like hardrick will be the scratch again.
  15. Barrin simpson, and ryland wickman imo.
  16. I considered him, but honestly I didnt dislike the don. I know plenty of people do, but he was a very early players coach and you knew what to expect with him. The mtl bomber rivalry was great and heated as can be back then. I hated some als players, like philion. But I kind of appreciated the dons style of coaching and strategy. Play hard hyper aggressive football for the whole game. They played a TON of cover 0 and if teams didnt like it, they could come up with ways to beat it. Imo that defense was a big reason why the 5wide spread is soo popular now. Teams tried every thing to beat that rush and what really ended up doing it was spreading the field and throwing quick patterns.
  17. Lol thanks. Isnt it though? I mean him and chris jones are cut from the same cloth. Both really good X and O coaches. But man I cant stand either. Idk if I could name another coach like them even going way back.
  18. EH it was so so imop. He says a lot with out actually saying any thing. The fact he doesnt list half the rider alignments is pretty lame. He has 9 formation alignments where he doesnt list them. And only lists 3. He doesnt list the heavy 11 set either team uses. And he clearly isnt factoring in the amount of times the bombers come out in a single back set and motion to an empty back field. The bombers use motion in the formation a LOT. From wr sweep, to pinching guys into a TE slot or flexing backs out of the back field. The riders variety comes more directly. The amount of times we pinch woli or adams into an 11 formation for runs is gigantic. If you factored motion in the splits would actually look very similar for 5-1 and 4-2/11 formations. We very seldom run any one from the fb positions. Its not even an Hback role, its a blocking te. The bombers offense has diversified in scheme usage. Yankee concept using play action and timing routes at the vacated Lbers positions to guys like bailey and demski. Weve added dagger, a spread buck sweep, stick and more. The riders have done so by just adding packages and formations. The real big difference in the bomber offense is that its unpredictable. You used to be able to anticipate the run calls with tremendous accuracy under plop. Now, not only will we pass or run in any situation, we PA a lot, and we will run the same play out of any formation. That works because we have multiple effective offensive schemes. Fast screens to wrs, sweeps, runs, timing in/outs to guys like lawler, etc. The riders in 19 had 1 major hot route and a running game. With the ability to buy time and chunk yards with CF legs. Teams have covered the timing slant differently, the riders dont have the OL to focus on the run (or the rb), and teams arent bum rushing CF and letting him spin to freedom.
  19. I hope its an honest look and not some primping of the situation for rider fan clicks. Mcadoo was run out of town on a rail for CFs failing. Maas, despite being a world class dbag, is a great oc. Right now CF is rick mirer 2.0 He got by on a lot of support and simple plays. When teams adjusted to what he did and really studied game film the holes were gigantic. Its all on CF right now, he has to improve if his career is going to be any thing more than a flash in the pan. If any thing the quality of this article will be a major judgement of ferguson. The CFL needs good reporting in the worst way. My fingers are crossed for a great piece.
  20. I really dont get how people talk about maas, their wrs and all these issues involving their deep ball. CF tosses horrible deep balls, he's been missing guys by a mile. Their ol sucks. But it sucked in 19. He buys time with his feet and still misses down field. Teams have adjusted to what he does and have taken away his strength. He hasnt grown or adjusted at all.
  21. You may be right. Any one who looks at the tackle stat and goes oh Williams over alford should no longer get a vote or have a job in professional cfl coverage.
  22. Or hire Maggie the monkey that used to spin a wheel for nhl picks. Watch Maggie skunk the cfl pundits and pay them accordingly.
  23. Collaros legs alone are 30 percent of our success. If he didn't have the ability to avoid the rush and make plays down field we don't have the 19 Grey Cup or the western final this year. Every one is important and the ol is great. But teams send more than 4 or 5 rushers frequently.
  24. Idk. If I was collaros I wouldn't want to leave and certainly wouldn't want to go to any team with out a great ol. It'll be interesting to see. I'm a big believer in Dane if I was tor or mtl id go after him hard.
  25. Thanks for the update.
