  1. If we aren’t gonna use him as a dna then we don’t need him. And it doesn’t seem like we are gonna use the dna to exploit like most teams. We need Thomas/Lawson and a new wil. They rotated walker at end too. It’s execution. They didn’t execute. He isn’t gonna truck a dt and go in. No push no score. I’m sure they will get better. It doesn’t happen often but some times the dl just wins in short yardage.
  2. Kola folded up like a cheap lawn furniture in a hurricane in front of him. He needs to get lower but the ol had no push and quick penetration.
  3. Too many blind tosses. That’s gotta be a seldom used wrinkle. We used it too much and it bit us. The pattern layer was fantastic, greatly diversified pass concepts. The cats had no idea what hit them on soo many plays. Really made them wait and eat play action until he unleashed Brady. Got him going in different ways and leaned on him more when the passing game got in a funk. Letting up was a mistake and took too long to get back into sync but it is game 1 with half a preseason and a no hitting camp so it’s not surprising. over all it was a really good game by buck. He continually improves and that’s what counts. He’s shown some brilliant game plans in the past and uses our weapons well for the most part. If he keeps it up great things will follow. He doesn’t seem the type to get complacent and stop growing. Argos had a great game plan and execution. We adjusted poorly we had a lot of guys playing hurt and not enough big performers. We play that game 9 times out of 10 we win by a lot.
  4. Sheahan had 48 yards per punt with almost 43 net. Which is exceptional. 4 tackles for biggie and Habba. Habba and wj combined for 7 tackles 3 sacks 2 pass kds 2 forced fumbles.
  5. Sad but true. 24 games missed in the last 4 years. Still soo damn good when healthy.
  6. That’s a real good point about BA. I was thinking last night we might be better with him at Sam and Darby at S if ba doesnt stop being soo aggressive. I’m just glad ba seems to be 100% recovered now. man some of these old guys just can’t get/stay healthy.
  7. Not wrong about lawler. I hate the loop hole in that situation though. The penalty is worth nothing hence we declined it. But it was a pick all the way. I wish they would tweak opi in situations like that. I also wish any time a team took a misconduct penalty after the first that the team got a second penalty. One team shouldn’t rack up multiple misconducts with different guys with out punishment. The cats just got dirtier and dirtier. Yeah. And I mean Bryant is our oldest guy and he looked like he was 25 last night.
  8. It’s a difficult balance to strike. But any way you cut it it is way better to be old and get younger mid season than vice versa. It’s hard to get veteran experienced winners that fit the locker room. You can always get more young talent. We have a few good young guys sliding their way into the roster. And mid season I expect to see a couple more.
  9. There was but even with the wind he was lucky to get it to the 10-15. He’s not been a good ko guy in his career
  10. Extra honourable mention to Dobson. He struggled as the 6th ol last year playing on the edge/te. But he was really good at it tnite both in short yardage and in the heavy set with action Jackson.
  11. Reminds me of when a Khari pass was knocked up and he bobbled it and got credited with a drop lol
  12. Insane. Wonder if that’s a team record.
  13. He made a couple plays and gave up a couple. I count him in the knock down crew. Every one was getting a hand on the ball tnite.
  14. This was the crazy 2005 madden ass bounce kind of game I’ve seen. Great to get that win though.
  15. Punting seemed good tnite some real bombs and Castillo was perfect on fgs. But yeah we need the punter doing kick offs. Kick cover was ugly too. You can’t have short kicks and bad cover.
  16. 1 Zach and Brady all the yards and tds monster performance from both 2 Willy j and haba sacks pressure knock downs 3 Houston and the knock down team seriously how many pass kds tnite could be a team record hh for me the biggie spin and tfl in the first quarter honorable mentions to ol, Bryant looks better than ever, Jackson was a monster blocking, Demski with a big night too
  17. I’ve never seen some thing quite like that mess. Tremendous hands too
  18. Jackson is a blocking demon.
  19. Short dl are super under rated. Haba could be here for his whole career. Might never get an nfl look.
  20. Haba big time performance tnite
  21. Great time for a clutch sack
  22. Looked short for sure
  23. No collaros interviews but like 6 for blm lol
  24. Would’ve been a great time to go off tackle with him.
