  1. And 6’3 220 and mobile. Both seem like camp arms tbh. Not that they don’t have arm talent or up side. Neither looks like a blue chip prospect. Under rated qbs tend to over achieve but if one of our nl qbs comes available I expect any of our 3 rookie imp qbs to be given an apple and a road map.
  2. https://www.semoball.com/story/2909875.html Jones is a 5 year starter which is rare though not against super high competition.
  3. That’s awesome and a couple more imp arms! Fantastic!
  4. and a 47 yarder is by no means automatic for any kicker. our d should’ve been able to stop the Kelly drive. Two big runs easy pass completions. The whole game was a big under performance from us in all aspects. We should’ve smashed the argos.
  5. I sure would love to see Jackson jeffcoat play a full season and put up monster sack numbers.
  6. I mean I’ll take what ever you want to give away lol
  7. on the defensive front he had a good game lol. On teams well least he’s got legs to take the fall for him.
  8. That’s the biggest part of it. Though our front 6 was key in the two wins and invisible in the loss. In 21 Biggie kyrie and Willy combined for 13 tackles and a pick. Jake added 4 tackles and a sack stove had 4 tackles and 2 sacks. Sayles and jeffcoat had good games the rest of our front 6 didn’t.
  9. Wanna bet? He’s going to punt and kick off while Sergio kicks fgs. Book it. About 0.0001% chance he’s cut. If Sergio gets hurt then legs will take over kicking. And they’ll likely go into next years camp the same way, contract depending.
  10. Some thing gordo mentioned in the tc thread that I missed entirely with the pick up of Castillo is we also signed barrington wade a lber that’s been on our nl for a good year I believe. https://www.milehighreport.com/platform/amp/2022/6/9/23147575/broncos-roster-barrington-wade https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/barrington-wade-player-profile-2022-outlook hes an insane athlete, plays much much stronger than his listed size. Hasn’t gotten a ton of reps from college or the nfl on D, but is a guy that if he picks up the game reasonably quickly could be a di for teams this year. His game really projects well to the cfl.
  11. That is an exceptional get. He’s an insane athlete for an nfl lber. He is freakishly strong and plays like he’s 260lbs. Hes definitely on the list of guys I’m excited to see. His experience on teams he could be a di for us out of the gate.
  12. Our qbs threw 2 picks and no tds. Willy and biggie combined for 1 defensive tackle and 1 special teams tackle. We completed 8 of 16 to demski, schoen, and Sheed for 125 yards. Our longest passing gain was 39 yards. We had a team passer rating of 45.92. Zach during the regular season had a qbr of 116.2. Grant on returns alone had 268 yards with a td. Collaros completed 2 passes in the 4th q, was sacked twice and we threw two picks in the 4th. Our whole offense put up a combined 286. In our first 4 drives we picked up 3 2 and outs and the other drive was 4 plays including the punt. Our defense collapsed vs a rookie qb with hardly any reps this year in the 4th q giving up the lead and game winning points. If you want to give legs his share of the blame, the differential on punts and kick offs was abysmal. To the point it was essentially two first downs of yards gained every time we traded any kind of kicks. Getting his kick blocked because a guy was not touched on a 47 yard attempt isn’t on him.
  13. Kicking did not lose us the gc. It didn’t win it for us but blocking is what failed on the final kick. He could’ve shanked that ball for a single and sent it to ot. A lot of things lost us the game not the least of which was a horrible performance by our reigning mop and buck pierces play calls.
  14. Joe Beckett is the big one. 6’4 240 and pretty effective in the pass rush. I think biggie could be a very effective wil or even s in the cfl for several years. It’s just we gotta keep the ol off him. He’s never been huge and now he’s past the point where he can shed blocks to make tackles in the gap reliably. He still flies around like a 20 year old and hits like a beast. Cooper is the next prospect he got dressed a few times last year but barely played. Cole dressed for more games and saw more sts action but still not much on d. Both are tall thin athletic wil types. Lastly is clements who is stockier than both cole and cooper and was solid early in his relief of kyrie last year. Good tackler, but tended to end up on the back end of plays instead of making a good quick read and stopping a gain.
  15. Not like that. Calgary and one year ott went for a lot of 2s. That’s it.
  16. It’s crazy how that is the play that sticks with people vs stuff like the awful pick thrown by prukop. Or that call. Or collaros play in the grey cup. Soo many awful plays and performances to pick through.
  17. Yeah a lot of this core has been together for years. Any year we will see the changes start. Salary cap wise most Guys are on affordable deals. Much more so than a year and two ago.
  18. Qft. it’s a really strong batch of rookies. Gonna be a bunch of dog fights for spots on the roster.
  19. I would assume so. I can’t imagine this happening soo fast with out a team friendly deal.
  20. Crazy old Chris jones. I’m sure Sergio was thrilled to play in front of 17 fans in the ruins of commonwealth stadium. And tying for the worst record in the league, while winning 0 home games, giving up the most points on d and scoring the fewest on offense. Right pleasure I’m sure.
  21. Only thing faster than the bombers on the waiver wire is taits typing.
  22. That’s some pretty crazy value. I guess it makes sense that a crappy jones team can rough you up.
  23. Gotta be pretty happy too. Coming to camp here vs edm. Never a boring camp but this one is gonna be real spicy.
