  1. I think they go from a 4 win team to a 5 or 6 win team, but will be in more close games. They still have a long ways to go though.
  2. Next man up same as always. I like the way he runs north south as much as possible. Find a lane/angle and cuts it up. No dancing around to try and make some thing happen. Didnt put up great measurables but clearly has some moves, burst and great top end speed.
  3. They better figure out a way to play this year. threatening other wise at the start of FA is a dbag move (maybe to keep over spending teams in line?)
  4. I love the arrogance first day free agency champions. That roster is still a dumpster fire.
  5. Toronto seems to be spending crazy this year maybe them?
  6. Can bet just about any thing that itll be demski getting the 2nd most touches out of the back field this year. 6.5 ypc... on 2 games worth of carries 😆 pumping him as more then a solid back up is rider fan base stuff. Ankle injuries arent any thing to under rate in a rb.
  7. Its true, big of him to admit it. We are calgary 2.0 right now. Its the meta on how you build a continual contender in the cfl. Deep national talent, next man up mentality.
  8. you mean like we did with flanders? 😆 Augustine was cut by half the league and brady didnt stay healthy as a back up. We arent set by any means, but rb is an easy position to recruit talent at. It doesnt make sense to dumpster dive FA for rbs unless your scouting sucks.
  9. That sucks for us, but It makes sense. Hes a great young talent and im sure he will do really well in montreal. His talent is legit. I would still love to see a vet qb in camp to push him though. Positional competition brings the best out of every one. But its not a surprise. I mean the fa market doesnt really have a guy you want as a vet back up to teach your prospect. ick
  10. deon lacey, mbt and judge are the ones left im really interested to see where they land. I think lacey would be great here though I doubt we spend money at wil. Exume and Kongbo I really hope we manage to bring back.
  11. mitchell is probably the best bang for the buck at WR in free agency and one of the best when healthy. Awesome pick up, hope he can stay healthy.
  12. hate this move. Hope the staff find decent landing spots. Would love to see walby etc have a podcast to balance out the inane stuff from pederson.
  13. vs losing one for nothing again right. never mind actually reading the post. 😆 I like the lorenzo jerome get for the riders too. Wonder where cam judge ends up. Feels like they are all in on moving on with out him.
  14. Didnt miss loffler as much as JSK but ya. You mean regina? his home town team? You can also pursue an education any place to like after making a life times income in the NFL. But you must be right I mean he did bypass the NFL to come here in the first place right? Oh wait...
  15. didnt he retire to rap? some one was hinting i think at 3dn that he might come out of retirement. May have been just speculation idk. Hes young with low wear and tear on his body. And a tremendous skill set, but I dont trust his drive to play at all. Wouldnt touch him with a 10' clown pole. you know how many pro football players still study while playing and do so from a great distance?
  16. Why is he allergic to money? He took time trying to get another roster spot after his 2nd team down south. And his interview when he signed here it seemed pretty clear he wants to get back down south.
  17. Eli gray and desjarlais arent proven commodities. Weve been trying to hide a 7th ol for years and it just only works for soo long. You cant expect one of those guys to hide on the IR forever when theyd have a chance to start else where. Especially with some one like gray who has NFL aspirations and talent. If we did (id like to keep all the young OL but its just a matter of time before we lose one or more if they dont start) we would gain future value, plus cap room now to pick up some one who would make an immediate impact this year. Like I said if I was huff I'd go around the league trying for pieces like that. And we are the capital of NI ol depth in the league.
  18. If I was him id try and swing a deal for one of our young ol. Gray, couture, eli, and desjarlais. We are extremely deep at NI ol, and a guy like gray isnt cheap. With the 3 vets, and one back up that leaves 1 odd man out. Bombers wont wanna lose one of these guys for nothing, and a draft pick could be used to store value off the salary cap by drafting an NFL camp/signee.
  19. the league is far better off both not having to still pay for the als, and having the als be competitive. Walters always says we dont have a lot of money available. But he was very close on getting burnham. And im sure it wasnt going to be burnham at the expense of the guys we re signed since him. I expect walters to make a few crafty good moves again this FA period as he always does.
  20. TBH, 2 qbs isnt enough. The minimum should be 3. I dont really wanna see darvin adams or other position players at QB. And with only 2 on active roster its only a matter of time. Or his agent using dunk to try to push up his value around the league.
  21. 1 revenue stream takes care of the huge majority of operating costs. Did you know its not the only one? 😆
  22. One year of the TSN deal alone split evenly between the teams pays for more then 95% of the salary cap.
  23. He reminds me a lot of elfrid payton (who i loved) but not in a good way. In more of a joe "first half" flemming way. The chris brazzell consistently inconsistent.
  24. If any thing he can use route work, which should be expected given his skill set and athleticism. The guy was released from the nfl and passed over on some real BS. He is still hands down an NFL caliber player. (not a starting wr currently but on the active roster) Itd be a bit of a different style for our front, but a prolific inside rusher with stove/jake on the nose and the heat seeking missles on the end Ols would have nightmares. Exume, whitehead, petermann, miles, rush, and rempel are all guys I really hope are back. Honestly the last thing I want to see in FA is lucky whitehead playing against us. He just might put banks to shame if he started for an aggressive passing team. Also nichols is a good pick up. Hes a tremendous athlete with a lot of versatility. The biggest knock on him coming out of college was size and polish. Hes had a good amount of nfl rep time now and is a perfect candidate for younger to shape into a gem.
