Totally forgot about the database lol! The similarities continue -
lol that was one of the trailers at underworld, I'm a sucker for punishment so I'll probably watch it just to see how it ends but i'm pretty sure this franchise is about 2 movies already past its best before date, this latest is just over kill
-
Went and saw Underworld last night, ugh dont. I should have known better. these movies always suck, but this one was exceptionally bad. Never have I sat through 2 hours of a movie and a story essentially not move forward. brutal

So with Nichols (pending) and Adams resigned, what is in our shopping list come feb? I'd like 1 more big target at receiver and a kick ass DE then i'd be happy has Ellingson resigned in ottawa?

likely could be its own thread -
I wouldnt want a re-cast because I think it would steal too much thunder from the movie, with the microscope on who ever replaced fisher. potential for riots in the US with chants of "not my princess" as well

I've heard he doesnt really need the work, I'm sure his time with the raiders and the clinics he was putting on saw him paid very well, but the guy is a workaholic and wants the challenge -

wish him all the luck in the world, but damn that sucks for us -
that crossed my mind but they missed that opportunity the moment they decided not to have her learn the ways of the force in any of the previous movies. I guess hindsight at play, but had they written it up like in ep. VIII kylo was still being torn between the light and dark and leia was a prominent remaining reason for that (like his talk with han on the bridge before he shanks him) and Snoke notices this, he has leia assassinated. I mentioned it before but some of the dialog Snoke has with Kylo ren in the book aftermath he gives his opinion on the empire so if Snoke is seeing a similar situation where Kylo Ren might screw up things with his lingering love for his mother, simple solution is get rid of the mom.

I went to see it last night with blake, 100% agree with you, especially on the ending. as I was driving him home we were talking about the movie and its ending and concluded the ending could have been better but they'd completely need to change the whole story. So we wrote our own version called Assassin One: a Creed Story - "Rebellions are built on hope.. and an Animus machine throwing you around" Episode I: I have a creed... I have an apple... ugh... assassins creed

so no leia in Episode IX? from my understanding they finished shooting VIII right before Fisher's death, so I wonder if this is a bit of a spoiler something happens to the character in this upcoming movie, cuz I can't imagine Leia being written out of IX even if Fisher was still alive, unless of course the character was no longer there

X was good but man did X-2 kill it. to this day I'm still a little pissed XI was only for xbox so I've never played it, always been a PS guy

I think Luke's upbringing was the difference between he and anakin. If you look at anakin he was a slave, and used the force (likely) to win anything he got like in the pod races. Luke lived a sheltered life basically being uncle owens lap dog on the dirt farm, but at least it was a loving and islolated environment considering the planet they were on. Luke also didnt slaughter sand people rescuing his ravaged mom so that likely spared him a lot emotional struggle. I keep thinking back to anakins eyes though when he first becomes vader and before the suit - like when he slaughters the younglings at the jedi temple. That was a whole new level of hate and evil in him. He might have hated the sith and what have you, but there's no denying he was completely consumed by the dark side. With luke the only real outburst I saw in him was when Vader revealed he was his father and does that little pansy nooooo. other then that he was not the emotional wreck anakin was

i guess Bridge would be the safer bet... of their current QBs bridge is light years ahead of the rest in career #s Bridge: 37/53 for 445 yards, 2 tds 1 int (2016: 11/13 for 163 yards) G.J. Kinne: 4/11 24 yards 0 tds 0 ints Jake Waters: 3/5 40 yards 0 tds 0 ints (broke his collar bone) Bryan Bennett: 0/0 0TDs 0 ints noooo way that is who they are rolling with come june -

TBH I think at this point in their careers Bridge is the incumbent #1 with his 2 career starts -

jones apparently sees Bridge as the a dave dickenson QB, and Kinne grew up around BLM whatever that has to do with anything. he's definitely not set at QB, once FA starts I think who ever is still available will likely get a phone call -
thats where in my little fantasy a 2nd entity was spawned in the force when Vader suddenly becomes anakin again. I guess after all the terror and murder that came at the hands of vader, I find it hard to buy that suddenly because he threw the emperor down the hole, that he can become fair haired anakin in force ghost form? that was a lot of evil, hate and darkness that just suddenly evaporated? I'd believe it more if you can purge the darkness out of you but that darkness still has some kind of celestial form/force ghost. As far as Kylo talking to the helmet, maybe that was just something he does. like a person talking to an urn or a picture of a lost loved one. Maybe force ghost "vader" saw this as an opportunity to corrupt him when he saw the fascination with his fallen grandpa, but took the guise of snoke to not only turn him to the darkside, but try to learn from where vader failed. again all just bs'in around here lol just thought those pics looked similar originally and got some story brewin in my head; would set up for a episode VIII "Kylo.... I am your grand father..."
-
i know there's a .000001% chance they are the same, but its interesting looking at the pic that they have similar scars both on the head and left cheek. i guess for my amusement i was picturing snoke in his hologram - or "force ghost" form as a completely manifested being from the darkness in anakin. that once Luke got him to turn again in ROTJ, it was too powerful to just simply be done with cuz Luke suddenly makes him see the light as hes gettin his ass lit up

I starting watching that clone wars cartoon out of boredom yesterday, and while I watch count dooku shoot lightning at anakin I can't help but wonder why Vader never learns the lightning move, nor did Darth Maul. I got to thinking about the entire saga as whole, and palpatine's "teaching" limitations or restrictions. It's clear he doesnt show his apprentices all the ways of the dark side, but he must have shown anakin how to turn into a ghost at some point when he was promising him (as anakin) a way to cheat death. So why didn't palpatine go into ghost mode as he was tossed down that hole in ROTJ. At first I thought maybe you needed to be struck down like Obi wan, but Yoda just dies so that adds different methods to turning... also I've been seeing this a lot recently, is it possible Anakin and Vader somehow split into 2 entities

wasnt there some speculation after Liram's phenomenal rookie season he set his sights on the NFL and tweaked his kicking mechanics to adjust to the NFL ahead of time which may have impacted his kicking in 2015? and quite possibly doing double duty didnt help either -
i saw some, i dont know if it's inside knowledge or just theories out there but apparently there is a deleted scene with Vader in bacta tank (castle scene) being assembled. theres apparently a comic version of it, so that's where im not sure if it's legit or just running with that but watching some of the Youtube vids with people talking about it being in the blu ray version has me interested

well once they got the shields down on Endor, i'm sure the unfinished but fully functional 2nd death star was a lot easier to destroy. the first was trying to thread a needle

While I get that, I guess it came across as at one time Saw was a part of the alliance, but later shunned due to his ruthless and likely wreckless ways, but it didnt seem like the other alliance members were hurting for a bit of luxury in their outfit and gadgets. I think the point was to make him look like a battle worn vet, but instead looks like "Saw, leader of the reject robot castaways"
