I had this conversation with my dad a while back about 1290 likely getting the rights after CJOB's contract expires. If CJOB is paying for the rights to broadcast the game (which probably sees them get their highest listenership) it would be silly for the WFC to severe ties with such a long standing partnership, even if TSN is a primary cash cow of the CFL. If TSN imposed their weight to have bomber games aired on their station, it'll likely be for free, seeing as they already feed each team millions of dollars a year just for the TV rights. If that is the case, switching to TSN 1290 may end up losing the club some revenue if this is how it would play out. So to that I would stick with CJOB until the quality of it is so bad it needs to be old yellered

depends what you watch really. Styles was world renown long before he stepped foot in a WWE ring. I loved watching him wrestle back on TNA, probably one of the few people I could say that about at the time on that show. WWE is definitely the "show" that if you wanna make top $ that where you should aspire to be, but tons of people have gotten big through other ventures to get themselves on WWE's radar to begin with. It's kind of like the NFL and CFL, we all watch the CFL so the "stars" of our league are well known. If they want to make more money and become even more of a star, the NFL is where to go. But you from time to time get guys like Calvillo's and Damon Allens who carve themselves out crazy good careers in the smaller circuits but still get the recognition for all that they've done

Bridge played well considering, but our D wasn't exactly our starters.. No Westerman, Leggett, Loffler, Wild, Thomas, Randle and a whole lot of rotating going on. It's kind of why I'm not really worried about Nichols performance. If we didn't play the riders so soon again when it counts, I doubt he even sees the field tonight. But not having Adams, Dressler and Harris in his offense certainly has a big impact on his play too

here's some 2019 movies that have been green lit, or been currently delayed and won't come out till 2019 Captain Marvel: Starring Brie Larson as title role, and who should be making first MCU appearance in avengers infinity wars Fast and Furious 9 (10 was also green lit, so likely a 2 parter) Avengers 4 - end of phase 3 so probably lots of deaths and retirements as most actors contracts are up Transformers 7 (8 also green lit) Spider Man Homecoming 2 Masters of The Universe - apparently a lot of A list actors want in on this He-man reboot and they got a guy who was involved with the dark knight trilogy and blade movies to work on this.

they've forsure aired reruns on multiple occasions on different stations. The french ones I was referring to probably aired late 80's when channel 13 was like as high up as your tv could go without the assist of a VCR or HBO box

the old campy batman was before my time, but I used to watch reruns as a kid I believe in french on channel 10 after school when nothing was on. West, for me was more iconic as Mayor West on Family guy and his awesome cameos on the simpsons and more recently The Big Bang Theory. RIP

Hopefully that also doesn't F'up the movies flow, in having 1 idea suddenly altered with new ideas. Gadot was also 5 months pregnant when she shot WW (had her 2nd daughter just under 3 months ago). I don't think hiding their physique will be too hard if all, or most of the reshoots are them in costume

yup, pretty sure the day I went Bob Irving and Ed Tait were sitting together in an isolated section from where the fans were allowed to sit (a section over closer to the bomber store) and the whole time they were just chatting it up barely paying attention the the field. But I think that's generally been the norm for media types last while. Seems every year we complain about coverage to some extent

not sure if I like that idea too much, game two has always been the warm up game for the starters heading into the season. most, if not all our starters will be present at the game on sat so they should still get a feel for the atmosphere there regardless of if they are on the field or along the sidelines. Then again embarrassing the riders in their own back yard is always great and should put a halt to any parades scheduled

There was a post on my FB wall from Power 97 i think when the Mummy reboot was first announced and I joked at the time (but now seems more inevitable) that you put; Sofia Boutella (the mummy), Luke Evans (Dracula), Spencer Wilding (Frankenstein's Monster/Prometheus), Benicio Del Toro or whoever will be the new wolf man, and whoever will play the creature from the black lagoon together and we got ourselves A Monster Squad reboot happening too! Interesting of note, Russell Crowe is Dr. Henry Jekyll in this mummy movie as well so I'd imagine eventually they will do a Jekyll and Hyde reboot too

not too concerned about PS game 1, as that usually is played by hopefuls and backs ups. As long as Adams is good to go for PS2 then all is well

went and saw wonder woman this afternoon, it was pretty good. Probably my fav DC movie to date. Gadot did a great job portraying the "naive" warrior new to "the real world" in it, so on top of her obvious sexy AF eye candy appeal she was awesome. Her and Pine really work well together

biggest difference is we kept almost the same roster intact that lead us to a 10-3 record with nichols while shoring up a big weakness of ours (Dline) with Nevis and Okpalaugo. The riders on the other hand have in a different way nearly blown up their roster as much as they did last offseason. New QB, New RB, some new OL, New DL, no Cox, new Safety (unless Hecht starts some). By the time your team gels you'll already be so far down the standings you'll be looking ahead to 2018. I believe last year at this time many rider fans were self high fiving each other too with how much better you were compared to 2015 with fancy new FAs and a lot of scrap heaping... exactly as you have this year. End result was 2 wins better.

I'll always be a Suber fan for the impact he had on my son. Got a chance to thank him and shake his hand last year when he was signing autographs (I think it was with Hefney and Kent) in the tailgate area. You could tell he had mad love for the city, as much as the fans had for him. Glad to hear he was putting in a good word for our organization even if his connection to Okpalaugo was due to their time spent in toronto

Interesting Jackson was cut already, I thought he looked pretty good the one time I went out, but i guess maybe he wasn't so good the rest of the days? either that or only so many spots for Import OL and with Hardrick, Bond, Foketi all but surely making the team, they want to look at Kieler a little more
