  1. Surprised he signed. Still think he quit on the team - but if the team doesn’t care then I won’t either. 3 years is great. MC won’t go to the Gap
  2. I think people dramatically undervalue what Bighill is asked to do on D- and I doubt there is a comparable replacement in this league.
  3. Dave Evans is a better fit in BC and Vaj is a better fit in the Gap
  4. Lawler would be silly not to say he was open to coming back to the L’ks
  5. He isn’t a DB. Struggled in coverage. Also I don’t think this signing means he won’t be back.
  6. Tyrell Ford has a work out with the LA Chargers. No big deal you say? Probably not. But, keep in mind that Tevaughn Campbell was horrible up here and has been able to stick around down south. Ford looked better in one game up here than Campbell ever did.
  7. The problem is it has to be Toronto because it is the only team that doesn’t care about losing a home game. It should be a Grey Cup rematch though…unfortunately the league is too ******* dumb to capitalize on the opportunity. Watching the shittiest franchise in NA sports history play the Argos for a second straight year will be so exciting for them.
  8. He really wasn’t. He was actually fairly disregarded most of his career. AC I get the willingness to see what he has as an OC- but being a great player doesn’t mean you’re meant to coach.
  9. I don’t recall Allen being talked about as some sort of cerebral offensive mastermind when he played. His biggest strengths seemed to be athleticism and longevity. I don’t see anything about him that would scream jumping to an OC spot in professional football with no experience.
  10. We will be hearing a lot of how this is a potential Jordan Maksymic type guy that just needed a chance.
  11. I don’t disagree, I have no problem bringing him back. Just hope a younger guy can take a bigger role.
  12. I think the mixed feelings come from us wanting more push from our interior line. I agree that there is no harm bringing back a quality guy like JT, but I would to see us get younger there, personally.
  13. Their team has been performing worse on the field (a lot due to coaching) so adding more responsibility should be a good thing.
  14. Walters isn’t looking to leave. He has been here 10 years and built this up from the ground floor. I wouldn’t just be handing over the keys to the best franchise in the league to have someone else come in and succeed immediately off my work. They will figure something out. We will see if the operations cap even exists in 2024.
  15. Watch Maas get it Wouldn’t you just leave your Saskatchewan employment out of it - and just say you were incarcerated during that gap at this point?
