Tell them to take Matthias and we will throw in a 3rd rounder? Stuart and a 2nd rounder?
-
C) ALL OF THE ABOVE?
-
The Jets after 33 games last year on Dec. 21 15-16-2 for 32 points The Jets this year after 33 games on Dec. 15 14-16-3 for 31 points
-
I don't think you can guarantee a win in any NHL game but these are three games that the Jets should/need to win. The guys back from injuries should be getting into form so there's no excuses there.
-
Stuart for a 4th rounder... edit ... 50% retained....
-
The Avs are 2-7-1 in their last 10. They have scored the least amount of goals (64) in the league. The next three games before the break are games the Jets should win. A minimum of 5 points should be expected. Both teams are worse defensively and offensively than the Jets.

Laine has been pretty consistent if taken in 10 game stretches if you don't count the first couple of games of the season. Werenski was drafted a year earlier. Laine is being compared with some of hockey's greats. If he turns it on he still might break some records. He is in third place for most goals on a team that is on course for 77 points this season. He leads the team with 3 GWG. He is shooting with an amazing 19.3% shooting average. He has played on the first line and 1PP for much of the season. Did I mention he was 18? Right now I would have Werenski trailing Nylander and Matthews. He's had a really good year so far and will be a really good D man in the league for years but it is harder for a D man to win it. If the winner were to be decided today, Laine takes it.

If Chevy does something (trade or a deal with Vegas) to let us do the 7-3-1, do we protect... Wheeler Little Scheif Dano Armia Lowry MP and expose Matthias and Copp? Hutch would take care of the goalie and Stuart the D man. Chiarot would if signed or given a qualifying offer.
-
Much too streaky, he only has 3 points in his last 10 games....Laine will be a superstar, Werenski will be a stud D man. Laine's a winger BTW
-
After hitting Hank like that, it is funny and sad that not one player on the team made Eakin pay for it...
-
Laine is in front right now without question. He has to keep the pedal down though. Nylander in TO is a very good player. Laine's a sweet passer and seems to be able to stick handle quite well with that reach. If he learns the D game even better, we'll have a bona fide superstar on our hands here for years. Think of what Laine Scheif and Ehlers will look like in 2-3 years. Perreault's play is improving and he looked really good with Little and Wheeler. With ESL, that is two legitimate 1st lines. I don't think we make the playoffs but I think this team starts playing really well in less than a month. An easier schedule and some sustained breaks should really help them and I think once Matthias and Armia and Petan are back, we will see far less line juggling. We need help on our bottom pairing D but I don't think Chevy addresses that until after the expansion draft. It would be nice to have a 3rd pairing that could take 12-14 minutes a game.

Game 33 : Florida FC @ Can't Blame The Schedule No More

If I crap on somebody it isn't for fun they deserve it. -
It isn't off topic because he has an influence one way or the other on our prospects. Goalie did I nail the period and the score or were you saying just in general that is what happened?

Going to the game and the Jets 2.0 have never lost with me in attendance. Make your bets now. Take a good look at Landeskog and Duchene. There are rumors around that Trouba might be going to Denver eventually. Those are the 2 most mentioned players when this scenario comes up. Not much interest in Duchene because he is only signed for 2 more sesaons after tis one. Landeskog is signed for 4 more but do we need another top 6 LWer? Trouba has been playing well and I sure wish he would stay but I don't think anything happens until the dust settles after the expansion and entry drafts.

Ehlers has a bit to learn in his own zone yet but man, what a set of wheels! I really don't see that much wrong with Wheeler but Scheif is a different story. Someone said he had a hamstring injury last ti mehe sat out? Staf is finito. Been saying it since last season. Said it again at the start of this season and got jumped on because he is a "proven 20 goal scorer". -
If he came in for Comrie and the winning goal was scored while he was in net? ex. starts 3rd period down 3-2 and wins game 4-2.

He made a comment in the pregame interview that implied that Petan was going to be playing with the Jets not with the Moose when he came back from injury. -

Armia and Matthias would go a long way in helping the PK. Lttle had a good game and if Ehlers scored on half his chances, he'd have more goals than Laine! Good game by Helle and Buff too. MP Little Wheeler should stay together. Enstrom with 28:15 and 3 GAA... -

Would absolutely love it if they made the playoffs. Need to see some playoffs before we can expect to excel there. No way in hell do I think the coach has lost the room or the team has checked out. -

That was a pretty good 3rd period and overtime for a team that has checked out. -
