  1. Nice Article on AOC https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-media-781571/ Man, she is pretty awesome. Her policy ideas are wonderful and really would help out the 90%.
  2. Well... this is reassuring. Nice to see. https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2019/01/do-most-americans-believe-climate-change-polls-say-yes/580957/
  3. That's pretty exciting- I am stoked for a 10 team league! Are they going with the Draft format for the Ottawa ALLCAPS? That worked out well for the ALLCAPS and wasn't too harsh on the rest of the teams.
  4. Well this explains a lot. Thanks for the clarification- it will help in the future.
  5. ... Nothing is smarmy anymore because of Trudeau? I don't get it.
  6. Actually, it was pretty clever. An elegant move to counter the opposition's smarmy move to pull those shinanegans.
  7. Funny- no mention of this anywhere on Fox...
  8. I see your Al Bundy and Raise you an Uncle "Quarter mile" Rico:
  9. Not sad to see this guy go.
  10. Always worth the read! Thanks for that. One of my fav parts: Damn I miss him already.
  11. Not the same thing- I agree that the pesticide "issue" is a political one, but the Triffid Flax issue was very real. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/attack-of-the-triffids-has-flax-farmers-baffled/article4216261/
  12. Ok, Cool I don't want any thread to get locked down either: We should take these issues to PM.
  13. Wait... what "Dem tricks" are you talking about? Anyway... This isn't about whether or not she lied about it... it has to do with the amount of stock people put into the transgression. I mean people have completely written off what she says/stands for/ proposes to do because of a small transgression she has already apologized profusely to the proper people. Unfortunately, those small minded people are missing out on an awesome candidate who would do so much for the USA's middle class and marginalized people. But it is trump being a racist bully that appeals to the weak minded and those that don't see themselves as a racist or a bully. oh, and a side note- your Warren/Ivory meme smacks of white supremacy and hints at aryan notions; equating White with purity. you should be careful about the memes you post, people might think you are a white supremacists (Not saying you are, hence the "heads up").
  14. First off... Trudeau is better than Harper- hands down. Who the **** could be just as or more corrupt than trump?
  15. I totally agree. I think a Warren/bernie ticket would struggle against Trump- Unfortunately, this 2020 race isn't about who would best represent the majority of 'Mericans, just who would be best to beat Trump.
  16. I know... the whole Pocahontas and Crazy Bernie monikers will drive me nuts and fuel his base... But for the Majority of Americans- that would be the ticket that would do the most for them.
  17. I meant academically as well. One has a law degree from Harvard, the other a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia.
  18. My Dream ticket would be a Warren / Bernie one.
  19. Nah- not a fan of Beto, his resume is too skimpy.
  20. Her policies make sense. Watch her town hall- it's worth the time.
  21. Gosh Iike her: She's my pick out of all the candidates. She has lived her whole life fighting for the middle class and the marginalized... she walks the walk, while others just pay lip service to it. She was pretty awesome on CNN town-hall recently. It's refreshing to see a Dem who can discuss their faith with sincerity. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/03/19/elizabeth-warren-explains-how-her-christian-faith-shaped-her-liberal-politics/?utm_term=.1a23ca567016
  22. Baby Cartoon commentary! I love these: An probably the most poignant one I've seen: This one is absolutely brilliant- not funny, just poignant with symbolism.
  23. That looks like a terrifying front 4.
  24. Well that is wonderful news- no gloom and doom.
