Bateman was with Edmonton last year and I think he attended training camp with them ... or at least mini camp.

Walters must have noticed that we were concerned about international receivers.  Good job.

Yep Walters makes most of his moves based on what fans are saying on this forum ;)

Here's hoping that Chad Anderson will work out for us and show up on the team sometime next year, preferably at the beginning.  As a rookie I do not see him being a positive influence on the team this year in retrospect unless injuries occur and he needs to be put in.  But then again Goosen has been put in and he hasn't done terrible considering he is of rookie status as well.

Anderson looks promising but learning to play in the CFL would involve much different blocking schemes, so stepping in might take time. He is young and I hope he is adaptable.

I really LIKE Bateman- seems very quick, not afraid of traffic, adjusts to the ball well and maybe the best asset of all,he doesn't showboat after a reception ,not even a touchdown. I didn't watch the whole 10 minutes, but he ought to block well for other receivers and running backs if he's not afraid of hitting.
