And we’re being doubled in shots again.  Maybe the refs will grace us with a PP to help with the shot total.  Miller having his stick pulled out of his hands didn’t warrant a call in the 1st.

Nice shot by Scheifele to tie it up.  Getting more chances, but still gaffes in the D zone.

To be fair Carolina shoots from everywhere but ya been a trend this season. Jets think style points count. Canes know it don’t.

In a span of 40.secs we lose the game.   This team needs people other Schiefele Connor Vilardi to score.   4 straight losses.  

Chevy needs to start thinking of moves now.  

The 2nd line needs to change and it can’t involve Toews.  Try Barron, Perfetti and Iaffalo…. Or call up Chibrikov.  No more Pearson and Namestnikov.

Milic has been hung out to dry.  Feel bad for him.  He’s been solid.

And shoot the friggin puck.  33 shots in the last 2 games…. And we’re not scoring….  Hmmmmm….. Guys like Namestnikov are allergic to shooting.

32 shots against. 14 for. Sad. Toews and Lowry would make good 3 and 4 centres.

or make a move and get some top 6 help. Sherwood in Vancouver for lambert would be nice. Dude adds skill and grit. They ain’t winning with Helle these past 3 4 games either. Need some youth. They are old and slow outside of line 1 Josh Elias and samberg. I like Barron on line 2 also. Maybe you trade for Kadri even. He’s still very good. Some talk they made him and offer and it was down to Calgary and us in the end and he picked or wife picked Calgary.

Too much pressure on Toews after being out so long...move namesy back to second line center and move Jt back to fourth line,give him time to find his game again.

Ya cuz it’s not happening for him. Here’s the thing tho, he goes all out in the O zone but makes no effort to get back to help, he’s way 2 slow to get back and he knows it as does other teams. Thats why he’s consistently on ice for opening goal cuz it’s almost a pp for the other teams once they get past center ice. 

Jarvis was available when we took Perfetti. Think they made a mistake. I like Fetts but Winnipeg born goal scorer and you pass. A dude who grew up watching 55. And you pass. Dumb.

Is it he just needs more time to find his legs, touch and to reinvent himself a bit or is it an experiment that unfortunately has not panned out no matter the time given?

How much time needs to lapse before a definite answer can be given to this?

At one point very recently, wasn't JT leading the league in faceoff win percentage? That's, IMO, the biggest reason they brought him in.

Well if that’s the biggest reason, he should be firmly planted on the fourth line and used in key situations to win a faceoff then proceed back to the bench.

Good question. I would imagine at the halfway point we can get an idea how far he can come back. It was always a roll of the dice..but you give a guy with his pedigree a lot more time than most imo.
