The East conference is so tight right now for teams that could make wild card spots that I wonder if anyone outside of BUF will trade a lot of guys out.

Pionk is a ufa who is going to get overpaid for a long time. Risto is 5.1 x 2 years. 
 

this is why they will bring in another D man cuz pionk is gonna get overpaid and he’s not worth it.

Pionk is on the ice for damn near every goal against. Risto is played more when Philly has a lead. He’s better and more of a bargain.

VERY glad Chevy didn't pick up Risto. I have watched him play since he got into the league and he has pretty much horrible in his own zone. 

He would have played third-pairing and he's not worth half of his AAV.

Pionk is a +24. After 66 games he has 44 points which is one point less than RR has ever scored in a full season. We can't really say who is better in the playoffs because RR has never played a game in the NHL playoffs. To say that he has been on the ice for nearly every goal against is nothing but a lie.
