Yup. It's a huge issue. You can see Wheeler just can't keep up anymore. It's on Maurice to recognize this and lessen ice time not give more

Yup. Every game he looks like he's in overtime in the second game of a back-to-back. He should be a 3rd line winger at this point but Maurice does not have the balls to do it.

Yup. Over 20 minutes a game is ridiculous.  Paul ain't gonna piss off Blake and risk losing his job but perhaps will be forced to play him less

We were bound to lose a game outright soon.   This is it.   Jets didn't have a lot of quality opportunities... when they did they whiffed (Schiefele missing a wide open cage).  It's alright.  Trotz has transformed that Islanders team into a really good one... I still don't think they are Stanley Cup contenders, but with that system , they could get hot and run the table.

Anyways, dust it off, hope that Schiefs and Statsny are ok, and gear up for a date with the Blues on Tuesday.
