I think there’s a reason they can’t win. They just throw money around. That don’t work lots in sports. Gotta build the foundation first. Can’t replace half the bricks every year but they try. I think when your top line and D pair that plays with them are all minus 3 or 4 in a game, it doesn’t matter what the other 3 lines do. Our bottom 6 has been solid. It’s our top group who shits the bed in losses. If they don’t show up, we don’t have a chance. Honestly thought Barron and Perfetti played well and you know what you get with Nino Lowry and Apples. The top guys tho. MIA there’s also competition in the 4th line tho and really none in the top 6. I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to sitting Connor 1 game. But they don’t do that but sometimes I feel they should to prove accountability exists with all of them and not just 5 guys competing for 4th line minutes Philly healthy scratched their captain who hasn’t been pulling his weight and won. Accountability in the top 6 is needed also. Pionk was crap. They will healthy scratch Nate or samberg tho who were both plus players in a game where 6 goals were scored against. Like I said plus minus don’t mean much but in a game where minus 3 and 4 with our top group. Plus 2 and 1 with our samberg Schmidt pair. Yup. It says something

Connor is definitely not playing well. He scores at times so it kind of glosses over his play but he really hasn’t been great since the return from injury

Accountability is a problem. When a guy like Ehlers or Perfetti mess up, it’s directly to the bench they go but 55 81 pionk and Dillon today do the same and they keep going back out. it’s a problem. That’s my 2 cents on what is a problem. Cuz honestly 2 games ago this team looked like Canada’s best hope since the 90s. Now they look like a team who could be in a wildcard spot in a week. I mean historically we struggle in New York but Jesus. These last 2 games were brutal. The 2 worst games. It’s a worrying trend. Play 1 good game, don’t show up for 2 or 3 and repeat. Very very inconsistent.

Terrible but nice to see Perfetti get on the board. He hasn’t been bad. So nice to see the kid rewarded.

Scheifele Connor Dillon pionk all minus 4. Plus minus isn’t a great stat but in certain games it can tell you the story. refuse to break up 55 and Connor tho. I’m done watching. Jets don’t deserve the effort today cuz that’s what these games come down to. Effort.

You know. Jekyl n Hyde can describe every team. Jets are 13 and 8 since the break. Ppl look at that and think that’s not good but they are at a 102 point pace. That’s real good. They have the highest winning percentage in the west so if we think they can be Jekyl n Hyde like, every other team is also. The parity in the nhl is real.

Maybe it’s me but didn’t notice many of what they mentioned during kick returns. Yes there were hits and stuff but in football you can hit people and the ppl being hit know that so I don’t see the problem. Keep it as is. Kick returns is what makes the cfl different than the NFL. Gizmo or Keith Stokes. Grant. The dude from Ottawa before. I mean. Those are get me out my seat plays. The media pushes it more than the league tho. Not sure why. It’s a contact sport. But in reality you can get injured pretty badly crossing the street. Or get a concussion from golf if a ball hits you in the head, so. I don’t get it.

The whole play was strong. Josh’s pass was sweet. Jets deserved the W. Regardless of who they play, they will be hard to beat 4 out of 7 games. The person loads the gun and fires. The gun does not load itself. Pretty obvious. Ppl always look for reasons or excuses when ppl kill themselves. My uncle killed himself when I was 10 and I remember my grandmother never accepted he had mental issues until the day she died. He loaded his gun. He fired. The disease did not.

I’d be good with moving up. If I can’t tho I’d prob consider taking a flyer on a guy or 2 who we may not see for a couple of years. With all the picks we got, this might be the year to do that eventho we normally don’t
