so this is an illegal use of a prop... and, rightfully, gets penalized for it... meanwhile, the CFL is promoting it all over their social media... seems kinda odd... I get that it's "fun" and maybe they think that will attract viewers... but this is kind of like promoting a 15 yard penalty because it was a "big hit" or something

the fact that we got only three sacks and they all came on blitzes.... clearly shows that we need to do something different on the D-line... adding more players, ideally Haba (in for Jackson) and Hansen (in for Maruo) would be the best case scenario... Hansen obviously helps teams too... and FWIW... I don't think Robertson actually meant to head-butt Collaros... I think he was trying to just act like a tough guy in front of him... that said, accident or not, it is absolutely inexcusable that he wasn't thrown out of the game immediately AND suspended for an additional game... how is the CFL going to justify this one??

Maruo is a perfectly cromulent player but Hansen is a difference maker on teams and a valuable rotational piece on the D-line... as soon as Hansen is ready to go, that change is a no-brainer... The one I'm not so sure about it what to do with Clements... when he's back, he likely comes in for Cole... but is that right move?... IMO, I would stick with Cole

If you listen to what Baily said after signing here... it almost sounds like he would do it for free... I don't know if there's a number that convinces him to leave... but it sure sounds like here's not here (or even playing football for that matter) for the money

At age 16 Crosby was in the Q... at age 16 Rourke was playing High school football in Oakville, Ont... At age 18 Crosby was playing in Pittsburgh... at age 18 Rourke was playing football in Ohio (or maybe Fort Scott CC in Kansas)... Not sure what the difference is... you're nitpicking on "development"... hockey and football have different systems... either way Rourke has played as much football in Canada as Crosby has played in Canada... technically more since he has two years of Canadian pro football too

I can't imagine why someone would argue otherwise Sidney Crosby spent his 15-year old season at Shattuck St Mary's in Minnesota and has been in Pittsburgh since he turned 18... is he Canadian?

I agree with you but I think you are confusing a few key points... no one is questioning Rourke's Canadian status... the comp of Woli was to Ben Cahoon... Rourke is 100% Canadian and the fact that he played college call in the US just shows how good he is/was I think what bothers some people is why all the Rourke love and no one else... does TSN even know there's another Canadian QB starting in the league right now who is also making an impact?... seems like all they want to do is talk about Rourke... all the bending over backwards they did for Rourke last year and nothing for Ford this year?... Ford might actually be at the perfect skill level where he could become a great CFL player but never really "great enough" to get an NFL look

he was really good in his only start last year... I know 2.5 quarters of the game was against back ups... but I recall him doing well against starters too... was hoping he could be a ratio changer at corner this year

I never feel comfortable about labour day... the 7-1 vs 1-7 isn't the game that did it for me, that 7-1 team was clearly a fraud... it's games like last year when the Bombers were probably a "three TD better team" and just barely squeaked out a win in that one... and might not have it not for an incredibly stupid bench penalty by ****** Williams and a dumb late throw that was picked off by Hallett...
